Forget me not

Part one:

"Hey, Angelo you wanna go get the pizza this time?" Donnie said looking at Mikey as Raph replied before he could even try. "no way he's not going alone!" "Raph not this again!" Mikey yelled back. Leo looked at Raph then at Donnie "C'mon Raph just let him go he's grown up enough" he put his arm around Mikey's neck. "You just don't wanna have to do it, Leo!" Raph yelled back as Mikey snuck out to go get the pizza since he knew his oldest brother would never comply. Luckily he'd be too busy lecturing the other two about why Mikey wasn't old enough that he would already be halfway to the pizza place before Raph realized he had left.
     After getting out of the sewer Mikey looked around a little to understand where he was. Since he was great with directions and usually just followed the others he didn't know how to get to most places. Mikey did however know how to get to the pizza place. After looking around he climbed onto the roof to his right and started jumping from roof to roof. It was kind of calming especially when you live with 3 brothers.
     While he jumped across one gap he saw something shiny. "They won't mind if I take a little detour right?" He said looking over the edge of the roof into the ally. After making sure no one else was around he jumped down and picked it up to get a closer look. It was an odd-looking gold coin with engraving that he couldn't understand. It was oddly mesmerizing as it glowed brighter when he picked it up. "Oh wait the pizza!" He yelled as he shoved the coin in his pocket and jumped back on the roof.

(Back at the lair)

Donatello looked at his eldest brother pacing. "He's gonna be fine, Raph I think you're forgetting who he is" Leo said looking at the oldest who had stopped pacing to glare at him. "I know he can do it but I still worry" he sighed and looked at donnie "dee can't you hack into the city security cameras or something?" Donnie looked at him before speaking "no I will not spy on Angelo while he's simply getting pizza. I hate to say this but Leo is right your too w-" the blue turtle cut him off "DID I HEAR THAT RIGHT?! DID D JUST AGREE WITH ME?!" The purple turtle just rolled his eyes before looking back at his oldest brother who had begun pacing again. "Look Raph maybe you could call April see if she want to come over. She might see Mikey on her way here" this made him stop pacing and look at donnie before pulling out his phone and dialing April's number.
Leo Walked over to his brother that wasn't on the phone. "Why is he so worried Mikey's only been gone for like 15 minutes" donnie looked at Raph then at Leo before speaking "you know Angelo isn't the only one he worries about. He's worried anytime any of us go out alone. He just shows it more with Mikey cause he's the youngest" Leo looked at Raph "I know I just don't get it. We know how to fight just as well as him" d sighed "he sees protecting us like his job Nardo. Like a duty of sorts. Kind of like how you make it your job to annoy me 24/7" Leo chuckled "idk about 24/7 " the purple turtle just rolled his eyes as Raph hung up and put the phone away walking over to his brothers. "April is gonna be here in 10 minutes" he sounded much less worried. Well donnie thought so atleaste but Leo looked at Raph weird as the two talked though. Maybe he was still worried? D didn't know.
He yawned garnering the attention of the other two turtles. "Are you tired d?" He didn't know which one had asked but they were both starting at him. "No I'm not tired. I'm pretty sure it's only like 8" his eyes fell shut but he shook his head a little. Maybe he was more tired than he'd thought. "Dee it's like midnight it's ok if your tired dude" Leo said as Raph started walking towards him. "I'm fine I swea-" his oldest brother picked dee up before he could finish. "Leo keep watch for April and Mikey while I take donnie to bed" dee heard Leo laughing as his oldest brother carried him away "Raph put me down! I'm fine!" His brother ignored him continuing to walk to donnie room. When they arrived Raph put his brother on the bed. "Now go to sleep d" the purple turtle went to get out of bed but fell back down onto it. "Fine I'll go to sleep but you guys better save me pizza." "No promises dee" The snapping turtle chuckled as he walked away. The purple turtle grumbled at he took off his mask and tech. He had his drone s.h.e.l.d.o.n. Put his tech away as he layed down and got under his blanket. "Dum dums." He rolled over and closed his eyes falling asleep almost instantly.

(In the morning)

Stretching and yawning Mikey sat up. He rubbed his eyes hearing some noise coming from the kitchen. He stood up and walked out of his room without putting on any of his gear. There wasn't a point when he was only going to the kitchen. It was probably just one of his brothers looking for the leftover pizza. As he approached the kitchen he heard Donnie's voice "come on I asked Raph to save me some. Did he really not save any?" Mikey walked around the corner with a small chuckle. This startled his brother causing him to jump and look at the kitchen entrance. The purple turtle let out a sigh of relief "goodness Angelo don't sneak up like that." This just make mikey chuckle more. "Sorry not sorry d. By the way are you looking for the leftover pizza?" The orange turtle asked "Yea I told Raph to save me some. Ofc he didn't though" donnie replied sounding annoyed. "Yea I saved you some it's in the very back behind the milk" the soft shell moved the mile and sure enough there was a zip loc bag with 4 slices of pizza. "Thanks Angelo I knew there was a reason you were my favorite" dee opened the bag and took a slice out. He took a bite without heating it up causing Mikey to give him an odd face. "You eat it cold????" "Why not? It's good" donnie shrugged continuing to eat the pizza.
The two sat and talked for at least 2 hours before anyone else woke up. When Leo woke up they heard him moving around. "who do you think that is dee?" Donnie stopped for a second listening to the foot steps before answering. "Nardo definitely" two seconds later they heard him call out "d? You up?" The purple turtle looked at his brother "told you" the smaller turtle just looked confused "I- how??????"
Leo called for donnie again so he sighed and walked out of the kitchen. "What's up Nardo? You need something?" Mikey followed him out and stood right behind the purple turtle. Leo paused for a second looking directly at their youngest brother. In a failed whisper the blue turtle said "dee don't look but there's something behind you" donnie of course looked behind him not seeing anything except for Mikey who was also looking behind himself. He turned back to look at his twin. "I can't believe I fell for another one of your dumb pranks Nardo" however Leo wasn't smiling and he was still staring directly at Mikey who was looking at dee. "It's right there dee WTH are you talking about!" This time he didn't even try to whisper and instead pointed to what he was talking about. The purple turtle turned around again getting annoyed seeing nothing but his youngest brother again. "Yea all that's there is our brother" "wdym our brother?! Raph is still asleep dee!" Leo said still not taking his eyes off Mikey who was starting to look less confused and more concerned. "Yea Leo it's literally just Angelo? Our youngest brother"
the blue turtle finally stopped looking at their youngest brother and looked at dee. "Donnie we only have one other brother. Raph and he's still asleep whoever that is isn't our brother." The soft shell turtle looked between his brothers with a small chuckle as he realized what was going on "oh yea very funny Nardo now cmon what did you need?" Leo wasn't laughing though he looked serious. This wasn't a prank. "Nardo? Cmon this is a prank right? That's our brother Mikey" the orange turtle backed away a little still not saying anything. "Right?" Leon was still looking at donnie very seriously "dee idk what kinda mind magic that thing put you under but we don't have a younger brother" the red eared slider put his hand on the hilt of his sword as he looked back over at the box turtle who had backed up into a wall. "Donnie step aside" Leo pulled his sword out as dee just stood there shocked not being able to register what was going on. "L-Leo cmon it's me p-please put your sword away" the blue turtle ignored him and instead started running at him. Not knowing what to do Mikey just covered his face with his arms. Like that would actually help. He heard his brothers footsteps get closer and closer until they finally stopped and all he heard was Donnie's voice "MIKEY! MIKEY?!"
