This was the day little girls dreamed of. Putting on that pretty white dress, standing in the mirror to look at the royalty before her. She's becoming a wife, becoming one with the love of her life.
"You look amazing babygirl." An already emotional Billy stood at the door.
"Dad, you're crying."
"I know, my princess is getting married. You look so grown and mature with you're full face of makeup."
He draws closer and pulls out a pearl necklace, placing it around her neck before clasping it. "This was your mothers. She would have wanted you to wear it. She wore it on her wedding day too. Luckiest day of my life."
"Thank you. Now I need you to pull it together Coach before we both slip and slide down the isle in a pool of tears." They both laugh.
"You're gonna be a great wife babygirl. Your unwavering support of your soon to be husband, and your dedication to anything that you do shows just that."
"Okay who are you and what have you done with my daddy?"
"It's me sweetie, I'm right here. Spencer and I have spent a lot of time together in the past few weeks, talking future plans, and what it will look like with you two living all the way in Wisconsin. I'm just glad you both decided to have the wedding in LA."
The post Grace-Zilla wedding crew included adding Natalie to the mix. With her training job connections she was able to score them a wedding ceremony outside of the Hilton hotel with the reception inside of their ballroom. LA was truly beautiful in May, and everyone was going to remember this special occasion.
Natalie was knocking on the door just as Billy was leaving. "It's almost time sis! Get those shoes on."
"You know I only wear heels every so often. My feet are killing me just thinking about it."
"Well good thing you and Spencer made the reception a Sneaker-ball. I'm excited to pull out my Louis Vuitton gym shoes with my pretty black dress."
"You're gonna look good too!"
"Maybe even find a date."
"Wait, you and what's his face broke up?"
"Yeah. We just didn't fit. It was mutual. He's a great guy don't get me wrong but I think I wanna take a break from athletes for right now."
"We'll see if you change your mind at this reception." Liv chuckles.
"After a few drinks I might. I need all the liquid courage I can get for this dance number you have me doing at the reception."
"Oh please you love to dance."
"Privately, not for an audience miss thang!"
"Thank you, love you! You're gonna be fine I'll be right next to you!"
On the other side of the hall, there was a totally different scenario happening.
"Spencer James, ready to marry my- oh my gosh."
He could hear hurling coming from the bathroom. If he didn't know any better he'd think a cow was dying the sounds that were coming out.
"Um Spencer do we need to stall the wedding ?? It's almost time for you to be at the altar before Liv comes out."
"I'll be out in just a.... just a" He couldn't finish before he hurled up the last of his breakfast.
"Oh my." A concerned Billy stood at the door.
Flushing the toilet in his black slacks, and shirt he managed not to get any remnants of sickness on his clothes.
"It my nerves coach. I just can't shake it."
