After defeating Black Adam, Shazam and his allies imprisoned Black Adam. At the same time, Emperor Belos and his forces were able to secure the castle. With the defeat of Black Adam, all those who cooperated with Black Adam quickly rejoined Belos. As Belos joined up with Luz and the others, he looks down on the imprisoned Black Adam.
Belos: So much for a God.
As Belos said that, the Coven Guards under Kikimora's orders turned their weapons on Shazam and the others. Before an all out fight could break out, Belos intervened.
Belos: Stop. Let them go.
Kikimora: But my lord...
Belos: Let them go. They will be dealt with another time. Consider this a reprieve. They helped stop Black Adam. For this service, a temporary truce will be honored.
Shazam approached Belos. At this point, Shazam was tempted to take down Belos. But at this point, he was still tired from his battle with Black Adam.
Shazam: Don't think this is over.
Belos: I know this isn't over. Now take this....puny god out of my palace.
Without hesitation, Shazam along with Luz and the others left Emperor Belos's palace. This experience has left a profound effect on the Emperor. The power that both Shazam and Black Adam displayed was unlike anything he had ever experienced before. From this, he made the conclusion that Earth would be more difficult to conquer than he anticipated. However, this only strengthened his resolve to rid the world of wild magic which in his mind was no better than dark magic. Meanwhile, Shazam along with Luz and the others made their way back to the Owl House.
Luz: Santo molibdeno....I just took down a Super Villain!
Amity: Is this....what you face every day?
Shazam: More or less.
Eda: And I thought Belos and his Coven dorks were a handful.
Shazam: Comes with the territory.
As Shazam and the others entered the Owl House, they found Lilith and Hooty studying the Tablet of the Titan.
Lilith: You're back. Did you....
Shazam: Kicked his butt and then some!
Lilith: And Belos?
Luz: Back in his palace. He let us go after taking down Black Adam.
Amity: Now we need to find a way to get you back home.
As Amity said this, Shazam was now faced with the question of how to get home. He also thought how to get Luz back home.
Shazam: Luz, do you know of a way back home?
Luz: The only way back was through the Door, but it's destroyed.....
At this point, Shazam glanced over to the Tablet. He quickly pieced it together that this was the reason why he and Black Adam were transported to the Boiling Isles in the first place.
Shazam: This Tablet is what brought me and Adam here in the first place. Maybe.....
As Shazam thought about how to use the Tablet to get home, an idea came into his mind.
Shazam: Maybe....maybe if I say the magic word and have the lightning strike the Tablet, maybe that'll do the trick.
Eda: Do you think....do you think you can help Luz get back?
Luz: Maybe Billy can stay here and help us fight Belos!
Shazam: I...I would like to stay here. It was fun fighting bad guys with you, Luz. But I got a city to think about. Even if Black Adam was gone, there's still tons of bad guys who would do some serious damage to Fawcett City. And I still got family who are counting on me.
Luz: And I can't leave here knowing that Belos is planning all these terrible things. I guess we all have our responsibilities.
As Luz says this, Shazam smiles as he hugs Luz. The two friends hugged each other tightly as they embraced their responsibilities. As the two friends finished their hugs, Shazam turned to Amity and the others.
Shazam: You guys take care of Luz. She's gonna need your help to take down Belos!
Amity: We will.
Eda: Take it easy out there, kid.
Shazam: Don't worry! Once I get things settled up in Fawcett City, I'll find a way back to the Boiling Isles and bring the Justice League!
With that promise, Shazam said goodbye to Luz and her friends. As much as Shazam wanted to stay in the Boiling Isles and help Luz, he still had his responsibilities. After saying his goodbyes, Shazam held the Tablet of the Titan in the air.
Shazam: SHAZAM!
A lightning bolt strikes the Tablet. The lightning overloads the Tablet engulfs both Shazam and Black Adam in a powerful but contained explosion. When the smoke was cleared, Shazam and Black Adam were gone. Some time later, Shazam finds himself back at the Fawcett City Museum of Science and History with the still unconscious Black Adam. He looks around to see that a tour of the museum was in progress. The tourist group looks in awe as Shazam awkwardly smiles at the crowd.
Shazam: Oh...hey! Sorry about the mess!
With an awkward smile on his face, Shazam places the Tablet of the Titan back on it's proper display case. After a moment, Shazam addresses the crowd.
Shazam: That should take care of that! Anyways, I should get going! So long!
With that, Shazam takes the unconscious Black Adam and flies out of the Fawcett City Museum of Science and History. In that moment, Shazam's adventure in the Boiling Isles had come to a close. But with this latest adventure, Shazam had a feeling that the conflict in the Boiling Isles would seep into his world. And when that happens, Earth's Mightiest Mortal would be ready.
