After the meeting with DeShawn and T-Bug along with Rouge giving DeShawn an earful since Rocky is coming along with the heist.
"Thanks for buying suits for us, Hermano!" Jackie said as they got into the car.
Jackie and V sat at the back while Rocky sat shotgun.
"No problem, I always look out for my chooms." He said the last part with a hint of sadness, V noticed it but didn't question him.
"Welcome on board this Delamain service. With Delamain, you leave your problems at the door." The A.I said.
"Son of a bitch! Better fuckin' believe I will!" Jackie said with annoyance.
"I see no reason why you should be using expletives."
"Oh yeah? What about the time I want to hire you for my cousin's bachelor party, huh?" asked Jackie to Delamaine
"Unfortunately, we do not take on such contracts." it informed.
"Three months I'd been savin' up scratch... Egh, water under the bridge. Hit it, Del!" He told
"Before we begin our journey, I must verify the identities of all customers. Please proceed to connect your personal links" Delamaine told them
V jacked in so Delamaine could verify them.
"Thank you. "Excelsior" package activated." Delamaine spoke.
" "Excelsior"?! Hohoho, this just keeps gettin' better!" Jackie said in excitement.
" "Excelsior"?" V asked Delamaine.
"It's a package tailored to their premium clientele. Basically, we get V.I.P treatment." He explained
"Top quality don't come free, you know? Just watch. Delamaine! Initiate Comabt Mode!" Jackie ordered while Delamaine drove off to their destination.
"My apologies, but you do not appear to be in any sort of imminent danger." He said
"Huh... Oh well." He said, disappointment in his voice.
"Trust me, Chooms. He'll mow down an army of 'Saka ninjas if it comes down to it." Jackie claims.
"Excelsior - what else is included?" V asked Delamaine.
"Comprehensive health coverage, including the handling and disposal of a client's remains should death occur on board." Delamaine explained to her.
"Damn, Shit got dark pretty quick."
"Yeah, almost hitting close to home." Rocky said the last part quietly.
"This combat mode even... legal?" She asked
"Of course it is. The Second Amendment says so. While on board, you are entirely within your rights to "bear" and use me." Delamaine answered.
"Dex ain't skimpin', is he." V said
"Least we got some clue where his sixty five percent's goin', eh?" Jackie asked sarcastically.
V argues with Jackie about the situation as she reminds him that they're not here to party but to pull off a heist. At Arasaka's Konpeki Plaza. Jackie says his whole life was spent in the shit city that is Night City and he doesn't want to go back. T-Bug called to check up on them and inform them of the mission. They must set up a direct, encrypted line to guide them through the plaza. T-Bug then told V and Rocky to make sure they were in sync so as to be more careful. Even though static, they could hear T-Bug loud and clear. After reading a quote from Aristotle and Jackie not understanding, V tried to lighten the mood by sarcastically saying that she wants more Aristotle, successfully making Jackie, Rocky, and T-Bug chuckle.
