"Symba?"
We stared at each other in shock
I didn't know anything about Symba
Maybe he lives here
"M-Max..... w-what are you doing here?" , He stuttered rubbing the back of his neck
"My mom came to pick something up so we came with her", I said, looking anywhere but at his direction
He made an 'Oh' sound and looked at the little boy
"Now Kim, what did we say about talking to pretty girls?",
He said, questioning Max
"Personal Space..", Kim grumbled underneath his breath, moving a feet away from Macey, but still holding her hand
"Would you like to have cake with me?", Symba asked, looking into my eyes
I nodded yes and he told Kim to take good care of Macey before leaving and leading me to the courtyard
Entering the courtyard, he lead us to a garden table: a small round table
On it was a circular shaped strawberry cake, already cut into slices
I sat down in front of him and took a huge piece of the cake in a plate
I've loved strawberry flavoured cakes for a long time
I took a fork and started eating
The delicious taste melting on my tongue, creating unimaginable sensations
I continued eating, completely forgetting about the male in front of me
I stopped eating once I heard him clearing his throat
"S-Sorry, I just love this flavoured cake", I said, a little embarrassed
"Its okay", He said. "I like it too"
Halfway done with the cake, I placed my fork down and cleaned my lips with a tissue
"Do you mind?", I asked, pointing at my headphones
"Not at all"
"Thanks"
I took out the headphones and placed it on my head
I started listening to 'Towards The Sun' by Rihanna, and continued eating the cake
From there we ate in silence
After we were done, a maid took the plates and the remaining cake away, not forgetting to bow
"S-So....uh....How was t-today?", Symba said, trying to start a conversation
"Alright, I guess"
"I'm glad"
it has never been this awkward before
We just stared at each other
"Look, Max...I really....really l-"
"Mom's done and she's calling you", Macey said, running into the courtyard, cutting Symba off
I took of the headphones and placed it in my bag
I got up and thanked him for the meal before leaving
"Wait!"
I turned my back and saw Symba and M
Kim running towards us
"Wha-"
He kissed me.....
