Chapter 5

I woke up to the sound of my alarm

I turned it off and groaned,as I woke up

it was currently 7 am and on a Saturday

I had to go to the library, I heard that they brought a new copy of The Future Is Dark

It's one of my favorite books to read

I went straight to the bathroom to brush my teeth and bathe

I came out wearing and flowery dress that reached my knees and had my hair in a bun

I took my bag and went downstairs

Macey was still asleep, and mom was at work

She's a nurse so she comes home pretty late and leaves home early

There was a note on the table, telling me to take Macey to Aunt Nessa's house

Macey was going to a sleepover party so she had to leave early

Just started school and shes already made friends, how wonderful, note the sarcasm

I took a box of cereal and made two bowls for us(question, do you pour milk before cereal or....-A/N)

I then went upstairs to her room and woke her up for breakfast

when we finished, I washed to dishes and dried them

She went to shower and change into an a black top and a black skirt

I then took her to Aunt Nessa's and made my way to the library

The library was not far so it took 15 minutes to get there

At the library , I greeted the librarian and started looking at the sections, searching for the one for sci-fi

After I found it, I began looking for the book

When I found it, I reached to touch it but someone grabbed it first, which made our hands touch

I felt this electric spark go through my entire body and turned to see none other than Mufasa

"Oh, Hi, I didn't realise it was you" He said, giving me the book

"T-Thanks" I said and headed to sit in a couch meant for reading

I took out my headphones and listened to the whales, and began reading

I felt the couch dip, and turned to see Mufasa sitting next to me, stretching his neck to read the book

I turned the book, so that he'd be able to read and we sat there in silence

"I'm not trying to push you or anything, but have you thought about the date?" He asked looking into my eyes

I really wanted to go on the date, but I wasn't so sure

What if this was a prank, a joke to make him and his friends laugh

I wonder if he has done this to many other girls

Play with their feelings and let them go

"I still need time, I mean......we just met and all, so I'd need time to warm up to you" I said, hoping he'll get the meaning

"Give me your phone"

"What?"

"Your Phone, give it"

"Oh", I said reaching into my bag to give him the phone

He started typing on the keypad and gave it back to me

"I don't really give my numbers to anybody, but for you, I'd do it" He said, getting up to leave

"Call me if you changed your mind, or need anything, I'm always available" He said with a wink as he walked out of the library

Leaving me flustered

I looked at my phone, wondering if this is real

By the looks of it, it's real

Love At First Sight Is Real

I can't help but feel warm inside

I took the book to the librarian to get it checked out and walked out

I walked straight to a cafe for a break

'The Morning Stroll', nice name for a cafe

I entered and was greeted by a fresh smell of cookies and cake

I went straight to the counter to order

But couldn't believe my eyes

"S-Symba?"
