All Along

Introducing

It has been a week since Sierra got back from NYC. She has spent most of her time reacquainting herself with her surrounding since she has spent almost five years living alone in New York. There to help her were her parents and Gerome, who has spent every single day at their house doing nothing but watch movies, talk, eat and even sing karaoke.

- Friday -

*Back at One on Karaoke*

Gerome singing "One you're like a dream come true. Two, just wanna be with you. Three, girl it's plain to see that you're the only one for me. And four, repeat steps one through three. Five, make you fall in love with me..if ever I believe my work is done..then I'll start it back at one"

"Ayieee! Back at one talaga Ge? Aba aba, para kanino yan? Kay special someone ba yan? Who may I remind you, I still have not met. Kawawa naman, baka ma-convince ko pa na wag na lang ikaw ang gustuhin nya. Sakit ka lang sa ulo!" ani Sierra sabay hampas sa balikat ni Gerome.

"Sira ka talaga, S. Pwede ba..wag mo akong siraan? I really like her kaya suportahan mo ako..instead of planning to get her to leave me, okay?" seryosong tugon ni Ge.

"Ito naman...di na mabiro. Syempre I support you. I'm just saying...why haven't I met her yet? I've been here a week na. You said you wanted me to meet her. Atsaka, I need to make sure na okay sya for you. Best friend kaya kita..so I need to approve of her."

"Mas malala ka pa kela mommy at daddy" natatawang sagot ni Gerome "When I introduced her to them..wala nga sila masyadong comment. Pero, ikaw...kailangan talaga ng approval?"

"Oo naman. Best friends nga tayo di ba? Ako din naman...if I find a guy that's worth getting to know, ipapakilatis ko sa'yo. Kung playboy, madali mong mabubuko kasi di ba, it takes one to know one?"

Just then Ge gave her a meaningful look, as if protesting that he is not a playboy.

"Hahaa. Biro lang. But anyway, ano na? When am I gonna meet this special someone? Kahit name di mo nga sinasabi sa'kin. Halatang masaya ka naman, kasi makangiti ka diyan sa cellphone mo habang nagte-text..halos mapunit na yang mukha mo."

"Masyadong exaggerated, S. Di naman mapupunit mukha ko. Ngalay na panga lang. Haha. Anyway, I've been meaning to introduce you two pero kababalik lang nya and her family from vacation abroad. Bukas, if okay lang sa'yo..isasama ko sya sa trip natin to Baguio. I'll tell mom and dad, at ipapaalam ko din kela Tito Richard and Tita Dawn"

"Exciting yan! Sige, don't worry about mom and dad..I'm sure they'll be okay with it. That way, mas makikilala namin yan si.."

"Her name is Marjorie. Marjorie Samonte."

"Hmm..Marjorie? What a great name. Medyo oldie pero..nice name. I'm sure maganda yan, considering gusto mo siya"

"So shallow ako? S, ang baba talaga ng tingin mo sa'kin. Ang sakit naman." pagdra-drama ni Ge.

"Asus, di talaga bagay sayo ang mag-drama kaya cut the crap, Ge. Haha. I'm just saying..maganda siguro talaga siya at mabait"

"Nice save, Sierra. Basta I think you two will get along well. Anyway, I should go...I still have to pack for tomorrow. Almost 10pm na pala..maaga pa naman tayo bukas"

"Ayy oo nga. Sige na, hatid na kita sa labas"

"Ang sweet naman ng best friend ko. Swerte ng magiging boyfriend mo ha. Lagot sa'kin yun pag sinaktan ka. Haha. Pakisabi na lang kela Tito and Tita nauna na ako."

"Baliw! Di ko hahayaang apihin ako dahil lang sa pag-ibig no! Haha."

"Yan ang S na kilala ko. Taas ng fighting spirit. Sige, bye na. I love you best friend!" sabay yakap at halik sa noo ni Sierra
