A thumbprint on the lense
So obviously from hands dark with the blood of salvation
The individual lines and curves show the identity
Proof, unmistakable. You can see the mark on the glass.
But the longer you wear the lenses, the easier it is for the eyes to become tricked. The mind forgets
The print, absolutely permanent has become, to you, invisible.
Those things that lay right before ourselves are easiest to miss.
Take off your frames, and glance upon them. You will see the print once more.
Sometimes you must become blind in order to see.
But no one will give up the things they believe they need.Just as our eyes grow blind to the frames, the smudges- so does our mind grow blind to signs of our God.
Miracles given, slowly become stories. Then they become myth.
You begin to disbelieve it ever happened.
We grow blind and numb to the biggest, most powerful thing in the universe.
Write down your miracles.
Keep them by the Word.
Proof, by proof.Do not grow blind to your God.
