Lily's POV
It's been about a month since we defended the earth from the dark dimension. I was going to my first day of school today. "Now don't use magic for simple tasks," I nodded rolling my eyes "Okay Dad," he sighed and handed me a packed lunch. "Have a good day," he said as I went through the portal he had conjured. I still had my sling ring and staff that was folded neatly into my backpack. I had my father's brain but my mother's common sense so I had skipped about three grades. So I was in 10th grade this year. Dad had signed me up for this super nice science school that only the smartest of the smartest went, Midtown high.

I looked up at the building and sighed. Then entered the school, and walked up to the desk. "How can I help you sweetie?" Asked the receptionist. I smiled slightly "I'm new and I need my schedule and things," she nodded "Name," she asked "Lilian Strange," she typed a few things in her computer. "Alright here you go," she handed me a schedule. "Your locker's code is on the schedule and your first class is in 15," I nodded and scurried away. Running into a wall of hard muscle in the process. I stumbled back a bit. "Oh I'm so sorry," said the wall of muscle I hit. "It's okay," I mumbled softly.

"My names Peter, Peter Parker," I nodded "Nice to meat you I'm Lilian Strange. But most people call me Lily," he nodded. He helped me pick up the stuff I dropped and noticed my schedule. "Oh cool we have the same classes. I'll help you get around today and I'm not taking no for an answer," I shrugged "Alright," I mumbled. He dragged me to our first class. When we got to class the teacher noticed me and motioned me over. "Class," he clapped to get everyone's attention. "We have a new student. Mrs. Lilian Strange," I waved shyly. "Hey," I mumbled. Most of the kids just stared at me. I quickly ran to the back and slipped into a empty seat that happened to be right beside a girl named Michelle. We mainly ignored each other.

The school day went by slow and I mean SLOW! Once the bell rang I ran outside and pulled out my sling ring. But then felt a tap on my shoulder. I quickly put my sling ring back into my pocket, and turned around to find Peter and another boy. "Hey Lily. This is my other friend Ned," I smiled confidently "Nice to meet you Ned," I said. Ned looked surprised at how confident I was. "Ya. Uh nice to meet you to," Ned replied. I waved goodbye and ran to a back alley. Then pulled out my sling ring and made a portal home.

Peter's POV
I was walking in the halls when a petite girl ran into me, and dropped her arm load of stuff. "Oh I'm so sorry," I exclaimed panicked. I heard the faintest whisper come from her. "My names Peter, Peter Parker," I said. "Nice to meat you I'm Lilian Strange. But most people call me Lily," she replied. I nodded and looked her over. She had dark brown hair, dark blue-green eyes and a slender frame.

I quickly bent down and picked up her stuff for her. I glanced at her schedule and saw that she was in all the same classes? "Oh cool we have the same classes. I'll help you get around today and I'm not taking no for an answer," I motioned for her to follow me and we ran together to our class. I sat down in my regular seat beside Ned. While the teacher introduced Lily to the class. "Class," he clapped to get everyone's attention. "We have a new student. Mrs. Lilian Strange," She waved and then quickly ran to the back.

After school was done I was looking around for Lily who had disappeared. When Ned came up. "Hey Peter. Who was the girl you came into class with?" I spotted her and motioned Ned to follow me. "Hey Lily. This is my other friend Ned," Lily smiled kindly and confidence radiated off of her "Nice to meet you Ned," She said. Ned looked taken aback at her confidence when earlier today she was so shy. "Ya. Uh nice to meet you to," Ned said

Lily's POV
When I got home Dad asked me how it went. "Good I met a guy-," Dad's eyebrows raised slight. I rolled my eyes "He just helped me get to class. Okay. His name was Peter," I shrugged, and walked away. Dad sighed softly behind me. I went to my bedroom and opened my books for improving my mystic arts. After studying and practicing for a few hours. I changed into leggings and a cute T-shirt and went to find my Dad as we had plans for getting some takeout the normal way. No portals, No Cloaks. No Magic. No nothing.

I found my father looking at his watch and the inscription on the back. He was in a simple T-shirt and jeans. "Hey Dad. You Okay?" I asked softly. He looked up at me. "Yay Lil. I'm just reminiscing on my past decisions and the outcomes of those decisions," he said simply. I patted his arm "Well we can't change the past we can only learn from them," he smiled. "I forget how old you are sometimes," he kissed me on the forehead. "Come on Dad we have some Chinese food waiting for us," I pulled him out the door. We had a very fun evening. After saying good night I went to bed.
