Chapter 5

"Now Tell me"

"That went well, you guys scared us for nothing!" Kai gushed to his new acquaintances. The boy offered a warm smile to the youngest of the five newly welcomed teenagers. The four others walked behind them and smiled, knowing that their youngest could finally experience a fragment of being a child. They smiled wearily, seeing their youngest be happy, and experiencing the childhood they wished for all through out their lives.
Taehyun, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Soobin, Kai, and their new friends, Wooyoung and Changbin walked with them, showing them around their new home.
~Flashback~
"Your Highnesses, we found these five boys around the outskirts of the island."
"Please, introduce yourselves." A loud, clear, sweet voice spoke which screamed authority.
The boys were completely dumbfounded by the beauty of the royalties but as one of them asked them to introduce themselves, they started to panick bout not bowing to them and quickly went down into a sitting bow then standing up and bowing at a 90° angle and started apologising.
"Your Hignesses, we apologise for our misconduct and disrespect, kindly forgive us!" Yeonjun spoke.
"I am Choi Soobin, and am 19 years old. The five of us have been together for all our lives, and have been living under a facility.. We were experimented on and used as tools by them. I assure you we mean no harm."
"I am Choi Yeonjun, 20 years old.
"I am Choi Beomgyu, 18 years old. We apologise for not paying our respects Madams, Sirs.."
"I am Kang Taehyun, 17 years old. Its a pleasure and honour to be in your presence your highesses, and we apologise for our inappropriate behaviour earlier."
"I am Huening Kamal Kai, and I am 16 years old! I wanted to say sorry about now bowing earlier madams and sirs!"
They did not dare to look up, clearly their instincts and past experiences for not wishing and respecting the people at the faculty had scared them.
"Please look up, don't be afraid,it is alright." The sweet voice told them.
The boys looked up to see the woman, with the beauty and grace of a swan approaching them. She stopped infront of them introduced herself.
"I am Lee Ji-eun. Everyone calls me IU here, and I am the leader of law enforcement on this island. That man over there Yang Hyun-suk, who is the head and/or the leader of our defences. The man on the right hand side of where I was sitting, is Bang Si-hyuk. He is the leader of our healing community. The man at the far end on the left, is Park Jae-sang,incharge and leader of our emergency stocks. Lee Chaerin, the woman on the right, is incharge of our offense teams and works hand in hand with YG. Jessi and Park Jinyoung, who we call Jyp, work hand in hand with Bang Sihyuk nim.
We layed the foundation of this island and are the leaders of it, and on behalf of the leaders, I welcome you to our island. I hope you find yourself the peace of mind and a warm, loving and homely feeling here. Welcome to The Magic Island boys. We would love to listen to your story, and please feel free to seek out any of us, we would love to be able to help you."
IU gave them a warm smile.
And that? Was the very first time, the five boys had felt that. Felt the feeling of being cared for. They felt.....
Validated.

~Back to the present~

The tour had come to an end. The two boys finally showed the other 5 to the area where everyones living spaces were built. The group entered a house. The interior of the house astonished the five boys. They had never been in a "house" in ages. The sight of a complete, well ventilated, living room with small plush covered seats, and soft mats available for the sitting arrangements, a whole damn shelf of books, a cosy fireplace, and a huge window which captured the scenic beauty of the sea shore amd magnificent forests just by a fraction. They looked around and all thought the same thing.
"This is a way too big for five people."
Changbin and Wooyoung stopped them and pulled them out of the living area.
"So this is your kitchen, we put some fruits and veggies and other necessities in there already, they should last you a week or so." They said waving it off and then pulling them in through the corridor connecting the living space to the bedrooms.
"So, we have two rooms, one bigger and the other is smaller, so you guys are gonna have to share.. I hope you don't mind that?" Changbin asked a bit hesitantly as he saw the identical looks of disbelief on all five faces of the newcomers. Shall we describe what they were feeling?

Flabbergasted.

Astonished.

Amazed.

Shocked.

In a daze.

Left silent and speechless.

"Guys...? Are yall okay with this? I mean we could totally make arrangements if you would want to sleep separately and like your own areas, I mean we could--"
"WE GET OURSELVES TWO DAMN BEDROOMS?!"
"THIS HOUSE IS HUMONGOUS FOR 5 PEOPLE-"
"THIS? WE GET ALL THIS AND WE JUST ARRIVED HER AND YOU PEOPLE TRUST US SO MUCH TO GIVE US ALL THIS OH MY GOD-"
"This house is truly phenomenal... I don't know what else to say but that you.."
"Guys... Thank you for doing so much for us and going to such extents for complete strangers like us."

Changbin and Wooyoung were initially quite worried if the boys would like the arrangements, turns out they were too amazed to speak. But again, the sudden outburst of Hyuka and Gyu gushing about having a literal house for just the five of them and then they realised that they were actually in the embrace of a certain yellow haired boy who had been passionately scolding them for thinking they wouldn't appreciate their efforts and then came the... Comparatively.. Calmer ones, Taehyun and Soobin who were just as grateful and shocked. The boys felt all giddy about having a place to call as there own.
"We're glad you like- love it so much" Wooyoung answered giggling and quickly changing his words as he felt the glare of a certain yolk head.
"We advice you to rest well and enjoy. However tomorrow we will be meeting in the clubhouse near hot geysers, okay? Enjoy your stay here boys!" Changbin grinned. The two boys hugged each of them and then took their leave.
"Yeonjunnie hyung we really get to sleep on bunk beds! This is so cool!"
"I know right?! Lets choose who we share rooms with!"
"I call dibs on the smaller room!" Yeonjun said, as he claimed one of the single, comfy beds.
"I'm taking the bottom bunk in the bigger room, that's it, no questions asked." Beomgyu declared.
"I'm taking the singke bed in the larger room~" Taehyun chose.
"Welp, I'm taking the other single bed in the smaller room with Yeonjunnie hyung!" Kai squealed, popping the 'p' as he spoke.
"Guess that leaves the top bunk with the middle children in the room for me" Soobin spoke, sighing contently.
"Why you doing that? You sound disappointed Soobin-ah~"
"Firstly, that's hyung to you Gyu, second, you should be happy I'm tired or I'd chase you down." Soobin said threatening Beomgyu which made him gulp and the others snort. They were really at peace, weren't they?
