Chapter 6

"Name wandering around my lips"

*By the sea shore*
"Love! Slow down a bit will ya? I'm not running away~"
The boy giggled as he was dragged along the moon lit path of the sandy shore of the sea.
"Noooo~~~ I didn’t get to spend any time with you today~ I want you to myself~" The other boy whined back.
"Aww, come on, it wasn’t that bad~"
The giggling boy said as he sat down on the shore along side the love of his life.
"Youngie~~ I have a present... I made it..."
The boy shyly hands a small box to Wooyoung.
Wooyoung curiously opened the box. A beautifully crafted charm bracelet was delicately placed in the box. It had a pearl in the centre and sea shells around. His eyes sparkled brightly.
"Sannie.. Have I ever told you how awesome, talented, beautiful, and pure you are?" Wooyoung smiled brightly at his lover while putting the bracelet on.
"Yes you have darling, but if its you who's telling me... I wouldn’t mind listening to it again and again~"
San said, stealing a quick kiss. Wooyoung happily gave his lover another sweet kiss and San ruffled his hair. They enjoyed each other's presence and talked about everything and nothing in each other's embraces.

*Meanwhile with the boys*
Soobin stood outside, in the balcony, allowing the cool air to brush over his face. He thought deeply about the whole 'showing-his-siren-body-and-their- thoughts/reactions' situation.

Suddenly he felt a tap on his shoulder. Looking, behind he saw a certain yolk head smiling at him softly as he stood by the taller.
"Hard to believe we're free, huh?"
"Yeah.. It sure is."
They stood there, enjoying the breeze until Yeonjun broke the silence again.

"Whatcha thinking bout?"
"Its nothing..."
"Oh come on, the youngers are already in bed, they were definitely tired with all of the activities we did today. Its just the two of us now, so don't even try to give me that shit. Spit it out already Binnie.."

"..."
"You know.. When you first joined me, when we were younger.. I didn’t understand what my siren form was, and neither could I bring it out without any help. But as we grew and the kids slowly started to join us one by one at the facility, I had learnt more about the monster inside of me. And I knew better than to ever let any of you see my siren form...
But now that you have seen it.. Would you still accept me? All of you..?"

Yeonjun stayed silent for a second before flicking the taller and pulling him into a hug.
"Ya~ Are you dumb or are you dumb?"
Soobin said nothing and just let the older hold him.
"Soobin ah, we know you’ve had a rough past, you shared it with us. We were together throughout our time in the facility. You basically were, are and will always be our backbone. Without you.. We wouldn’t be here. Its you who kept us together.. You kept us alive. Do you really think we would not accept you after all you have done for us just because you are a siren?"
Yeonjun said. He felt his shoulder  getting wet and rubbed circles on the younger's back as an attempt to comfort him.
"Soobin ah, we love you. We all did, do and always will. No matter what the world does to you, I atleast know for sure, that I will always be on your side. You will always have the others and me."
Yeonjun slowly pulled away from Soobin and stared at the boy. He tenderly wiped the tear tracks away from the taller's face. How dare do something like tears even touch his Soobinie's face?

He smiled softly as he cupped Soobin's face in the moon lit balcony. They both looked at each other longingly. Oh how dear and strong their bond was. They inched closer to each other.

But they stopped themselves and and pulled away. Suddenly flustered and laughing awkwardly at themselves.

"Yeah, so I'm gonna go, would you like  some herbal tea? Wooyoung taught me how to make some!"
"Umm sure i guess, I'll join you soon hyung-"

And with that the awkward pair parted.

"Oh come on! How fucking dense are they?!" A certain red head whisper yelled.
"One, Yeonjunnie hyung would beat your ass if he heard you curse; two, yes they are dense as hell.
Also, what about you? You're just as dense. When will you tell hyung?" A raven haired answered back in hushed whispers too.
"He-hey! This ain't about me Hyuka. Don't change the topic.."
"Sure I guess, whatever makes you happy Tyun." Kai sassed back smugly.
"UGH. Let's just get back to bed before we're caught, yeah?"
"Mhmm lets go. Night! Sleep well"
