There's a moment of pain where its all too much
A moment where all I can do is collapse on my knees
And my stomach tightens from the excruciating stabbing pain
It's in that moment I feel at a loss
When my heart beat palpitates and begins to slow and rise again
As the acidic rain falls from eyes..
This is real pain...
In that moment where my breath becomes stuck in my throat
And I'm gasping for air that won't surface
Most broken people say they're drowning and no one can see
But here I am suffocating and watching everyone breathe
But it won't last long.. it never does
This real pain, it comes and goes
So this is why you assume I'm okay
Once there's no tears it's all forgiven?
But you really wouldn't know when you never truly see
All the nights I lock myself away
The hour long shower of misery
This my pain..
