I arrived at the place in less than 20 minutes and Zac was already there waiting on me. "Hi!" I smiled.
"Hello beautiful," he returned the smile, we both ordered a shot to calm me down. "1. 2. 3." We took it.
"So Zac, why don't you tell me about yourself?" I started the conversation off. He took a sigh before speaking.
"Hmm let me see, I'm from New York! Currently I'm in real estate. I sell nice homes in Compton."
I almost laughed, "Don't say nothing funny about Compton please." He said, "and when I'm not doing that I'm pursing my acting career."
"You work in Compton, selling and rebuilding home. Do you know b-smooth the thug lover?" He looks at me stupid.
"Who?"
"Never mind, im sorry" I cracked a smile, trying to wipe the embarrassment off my face. "You know if you have time you should let me show you some of my work.
"I even had a featured extra roll on the young and the reckless." The whole time I was just smiling.
"The director liked my look so much he gave me a line," he shrugged, then he started to act out the part and what he said.
I laughed the entire time, "So let me get this straight?" He started naming things I'd told him about me.
"You said your father, your grandfather and your great grandfather were all dentist?" I nodded.
"Yes but I'm the crazy one who had to take it to the next level, I actually own 6 dental clinics but work full time as a obstetrician."
"I come from a long line of doing the most." We both laughed, it was true my family really over did their parts sometimes.
"So you're a daddy's girl?" I nodded, "Um yea little bit, but growing up my dad was so overprotective i felt like I was in solitary confinement."
"Why was he so overbearing?" He asked showing interest,
"My uh oldest brother Nate was killed and after that my mom went a little crazy, started drinking and my dad had to step in."
"Sorry to hear that," he placed his hand on my thigh, "Do you mind if we changed the subject?"
I hate talking about Nate, he was my best friend and I'm still torn about him not being here with us.
"Not at all," he said, and I sighed of relief. "So what did you father do, lock you in the basement or just throw food at you?"
"Practically," I joked, we both laughed. "You know that's horrible right?"
"Yes but here's a true fact, I didn't go on my first real date until 19."
"So you were a hot nerd?" He laughed, "He called every 15 minutes until my mom took the phone."
"Well he bet not call now, you busy."
"You're right I am busy, and besides I'm a grown woman now," I shrugged, "Are you now?"
"Crazy thing is now, he'd willing give me away to anyone with a job and good teeth."
"How grown are you?" He asked with a smirk, i smirked back but I knew I wasn't prepared for this.
