Fatima Wilson

"Pretty much the same as it was when you left." My father spoke as Him, Zac and me entered my old bedroom.

"Thanks dad," I gave him a small smile as Zac went onto my balcony to check out the view. "Now you two.. Zac come back in here."

"I need you to hear this." He spoke, "Yes sir?" Zac closed the balcony door. "I want you kids to control yourselves."

"You have to understand, her mother wonders the halls late at night. Bible in one hand, spatula in the other."

"I don't know what it's for, of course I'll do my best to keep her cool calm and collective." he lied, my mom can't be tamed.

"Every time her and I lay down together I'll maybe keep her distracted.... - dad gross ew!" I cut him off

Nobody wanted to hear the nastiness that happens in the Wilson's bedroom. He started chuckling at me response.

He laughed up until he left my bedroom leaving me and Zac standing there disgusted. Well I was, Zac was laughing as well.

"Your dad's a freak, speaking off freaks." He flopped down on my bed, i eyes him. Now he knew our rules.

"Come on let's light the fire!" He exaggerates, "Don't get any ideas, you are sleeping on the floor."

"What?" He looked at me crazy and I shrugged. I waited for him to get dressed before we went back downstairs.

"You know yo sister do look like one of them lol garden tools out there." Zac joked and I laughed as we walked up to the table.

Then our laughs were stopped by my sister, and her fiancé Nick. "Well well well if it isn't my future sister in-law."

"How you doing Nick?" I said through gritted teeth, I don't like him for my sister but if she wants to marry him I'll mind my business.

"I'm great I'm great and what do we have here, this gentlemen here." Before I could even speak Tika started talking

"Yea we're all trying to firgure that out ourselves," she was trying to be funny, "I'm Zac, Fatima's boyfriend."

"Yes and he is wonderful." I did the most just to show off, soon after my dad came up and him and Nickn did the most.

They spoke for a little minute before we all went to the front room to see the setup with drinks my dad set up.

"It's so beautiful"
"You did this yourself"
"Fancy"

There was all comments filing around until Nick decided to speak upon Zac, "So what was it Chad, Chip."

"Zac!" Him and I both corrected because where tf did he get a C from anyway. "I don't know if they told you, ima orthodontist myself.

Who asked? "What is it you do for a living?" He asked, "I'm a realtor pursing my acting career." Zac spoke up.

Zac started to speak on the one line he did in a soap opera causing me to groan mentally. "Can we be excused?"

We both stood up and went to the kitchen. I told him that that line meant nothing and we got the arguing.

"Okay I'm sorry alright, I'm sure you very passion about acting but stop!"

"Okay okay ima let you slide with your lil insults. It's stressful working under these conditions." He meant Nick.

"I know and I'm sorry, especially about Nick." I side eyes the area he sat at, "He's a cornball." Zac stated.

"Yea we'll I don't like em." I informed him "I don't like him." He informed me. "I don't trust em."

"Why don't you trust him?" He asked me, "It's not your concern, just do your damn job!" I screeched.

"And make me look good," I stated as we walked back to the living room, "Okay, shouldn't be too hard."

I looked back at him and smiled, he smirked and we both sat down. "Sorry!" I apologized immediately.

"You know Tima wants her one on one time." He expressed, "Isn't he awesome?" I smiled at my mom.

She nodded smiling back at me, Zac kissed my cheek. "That's my rule, it's all about you baby."
Here goes Tika.

"Wow and he knows how to lay it on thick." I smiled and then Tika started kissing Nick really fast.

They both looked like fish out of water, "You okay baby? I have your inhaler in the kitchen." My mom said.

They pulled apart, "Mommy!" Tika felt embarrassed, as she should because that was uncalled for.

"How about we get ready for diner?" My dad suggested, everybody stood up. My mom stumbles to the kitchen.

"Let me just.. it's almost done really. It's the chicken." She stumbled over her words as well, I questioned her behavior.

"No she wouldn't do that." Tika whispered in my ear noticing my face. I smiled and she touched her cheek with mine.

Then she left with her fiancé, sometimes I can't stand her but at other times I'm genuinely happy to have her.

When my brother died her and I were together for weeks literally, she was my everything then. I hate how we drifted but life happens.
