Ain't No Sunshine

Chapter XIII

Ryker's POV
       Mabilis kong tinapos ang trabaho ko sa company, I called my secretary "Vance, can you come to my office now?" tanong ko dito "Wait lang hyung ay sir pala" ani nito which makes me chuckle "Take your time, hindi naman ako mawawala dito" sagot ko "Okayy" sagot nito before I ended the call. 

        Vance is my secretary since I become CEO of my own company although I don't use my real name as a CEO. He's like a little brother to me too, we enter the same school and nakasama ko siya before noong nagpapart time pa lang ako noon. I'm older than him since he's the same age with Einar and Hiro. His parents died when he's still in third year college, I already have stable work that time and meron na din si Nyx at Ken, sila Kai at Rio ay may trabaho na noon pa kaya nakakatulong na din sila and nag-aaral pa noon sila Lio and Flam since they enter law and med field. 

         Ayon nakaluwag luwag na kami since madami nang nakakapagtrabaho samin kaya I decided na tulungan si Vance dahil hindi na din naman siya iba samin. My siblings agree with me na tulungan namin si Vance, kilala na nila ito. Noong una ayaw pumayag ni Vance since madami na daw akong responsibilities pero pinilit namin siya katulong kong mamilit noon ay si Lio. Someone knocks on the door that makes me snapped out of my thoughts. 

        "Come in" ani ko the door slowly opened and it revealed Vance "Sir tawag niyo ko?" nakangiting tanong nito "How many times do I need to remind you na hyung na lang when we're alone?" tanong ko, he giggles "Hyung its still work hours kaya you're Sir right now" he said between giggles I playfully rolled my eyes at him but laughs nonetheless. 

       "Anyways, si Aella kasi she wants to visit mama" saad ko "And you'll leave the company to me?" tanong niya I shake my head "I was wondering kung gusto mo sumama samin para makapagbakasyon ka naman" saad ko he immediately shakes his head "Ayaw hyung" parang batang ani nito while continuously shaking his head, I raised my eyebrows at him. 

       "Why? You have a date?" pang-aasar ko dito namula naman ang tenga nito "You have date nga??" gulat na tanong ko, don't get me wrong gwapo tong kapatid kong to pero wala siyang nababanggit sakin na may nililigawan siya or he's seeing someone. "H-how'd you know?" he asked "Well I'm your hyung afterall" proud na saad ko. 

         "So who's the lucky person?" tanong ko "Eh hyung nakakahiya" ani nito "Hindi pa kayo pero kinakahiya mo na?" I raised my eyebrows at him again. "What? No hyung. Its just hindi pa din nagsisink-in sakin na she agreed to have me on a date" paliwanag niya I smiled at him. "Its Ashanti, right?" tanong ko, more like a statement kaya naman ang mukha ng kapatid ko ayon pulang pula. 

        "Kuyaaaa" he whines bago nagtago sa likod ng unan (btw nasa couch siya) "Bingo!!" Helios suddenly popped out of the door like a genie. "So when is the date?" tanong nito "Mamayang dinner po" nakatungong saad ni Vance, Lio raised his head up. 

       "Chin up, baby. Matagal mo na tong inintay. Be confident, okay?" ani nito "Yan na susuot mo later?" tanong nito which Vance give a hesitant nod. Lio clicked his tongue for disapproval. "Hindi pwede yan" ani niya "Wait I'll call Taki" dagdag pa nito "Wag na hyung" pagpigil ni Vance kay Lio but its too late now. 

       "Hayaan mo na Kuya mo" ani ko dito "Eh hyung ang mamahal nanaman for sure ng bibigay saking damit ni Kuya Taki" saad nito "Don't mind the price bigay sayo yon ng Kuya mo" sagot ni Lio. "Just sit back and relax si Taki na bahala sayo" dagdag pa nito and give the younger a wink, napailing na lang ako sa kanila. 

        "Hindi naman kami papayag na hindi gwapo ang kapatid namin sa date niya with crush" pang-aasar ko "Kuyaaa" naiiyak na saad nito "Oh bawal umiyak dito big boy na ah" dagdag ko pa but he just hug us both. "Thank you mga kuya" ani niya we hug him back. "Always buddy" sagot ko before ruffling his hair.   

Wyatt's POV
       I've got in her university there's only few people since its still early, 10 minutes before the actual dismissal. I texted her na nasa parking na ko, I know she doesn't have class as their principal let them rest for the afternoon. 

       I texted her again and I even tried to call her but she isn't answering her phone, maybe she fell asleep. I decided to find her coach na lang and asked where she is, when I can't see their coach too I asked the three students na na kita ko. 

       "Excuse me. Can I ask you a question?" I asked them "Sige po. Ano po yon?" magalang na sagot ng lalaking medyo mahiyain "Do you know where's the athletes quarter? I'm looking for someone that's in there" saad ko sa kanila. 

       "Sakto! Doon din kami papunta" sagot ng isang lalaking hyper, they lead the way and nakasunod lang ako sa kanila. After three buildings ay nakarating na din kami sa athlete's quarters. 

       "Hanggang dito lang tayo, kuya. Bawal sa loob ang hindi athlete" saad ng lalaking hyper. "I'm Francis po pala" he introduced himself "I'm Xaviel" the shy guy "Perseus" is the guy who I have same vibes with, I nodded at them. "I'm Wyatt" I introduced myself. 

        "Sino po pala inaantay niyo?" tanong ni Francis if I'm not mistaken. "My sister, they have game this morning and she told us that they're staying here" I answer him "Ohh ano po pangalan?" tanong naman ni Xaviel. 

        "Ryleigh" I said and nakita kong medyo nagulat sila exept the Perseus guy "Kapatid po kayo ni Leigh?" gulat na tanong ni Francis "Yeah. You know her?" balik tanong ko and they nodded. 

        "Actually siya po inaantay namin ngayon" sagot ni Francis I looked at them with confusion "Why?" I asked them "She asked us a favor po if Perseus can lend her notes sa afternoon class namin today and we're here to deliver it" sagot ni Xaviel, I nodded at them. 

       "Wyatt" tawag ng kung sino I looked around to find the source of voice and it landed on her coach. "Coach" ani ko "Fetching Leigh?" tanong nito, I nodded at him "Where is she?" tanong ko. "Tulog pa, ayaw gisingin ng team niya" sagot nito "Kaya tamang tama ang dating mo para ikaw na mangising sa kanya" dagdag pa nito. "Kuya Guard let him in po, he's coming with me" saad nito sa nagbabantay "Excuse me" paalam ko sa tatlo and they all nodded.
