Ren called me and told me to meet up with him.

Since it was just Ren, I told Jin to have some free time because he's been following me the whole day. He refused at first, but I convinced him through a new task, grocery shopping.

I met with him at some type of training ground, similar to where Jimin and Taehyung were training.

From far away, I could sense that he wasn't alone, and that rose my curiosity.

Ren noticed me as I approached and waved at me.

"Nuna, how are you liking the EF?" He asked.

"There's certainly people with potential here, but they're all mostly big-shot wannabe assholes." I replied honestly.

Ren chuckled.

"Nuna, I heard that you created a team with Jin hyung." He said.

"Did Jin tell you?" I questioned.

"No, Nari heard some people talking and immediately knew it was you." He said.

"Oh."

"Knowing you, you're trying to scout high ranks in order to get a high mission." Ren said. "That's why you've been going around, right?

"Wow, you do know me." I gave him a weird look as a joke.

"Well, since you're looking for people, I brought you a friend of mine. He's pretty strong and he hasn't joined a group yet." He explained.

A young guy stepped forward and bowed respectfully. He looked to be the same age as Ren.

"Hello, Nuna. My name is Jeon Jungguk, I am 15 years old and I'm a level 6." Jungguk introduced himself.

"Jungguk, if you're that strong, why haven't you joined a team yet?" I asked.

"No team has caught my attention. I wish to follow the strong in order for me to grow even stronger. Ren has told me about you, he says you're the strongest person he knows. If that's true, please, let me join your team." Jungguk bowed again at a perfect 90 degree.

I smiled. He reminded me of my youngest brother. I felt a little relieved to see him. It's rare that I see such innocent eyes like his. It wouldn't be good for him to be involved with me.

"That's a common goal you have, but admirable. Sadly for you, I have to decline." I said.

Jungguk's face fell from shock and disappointment.

"I already have enough people." I said.

"B-But I'm strong! I'd be a great asset for your team!" Jungguk claimed.

"J-Jungguk... that's enough now." Ren warned him nervously.

"I'm a fast learner! I can follow orders! I can grow strong!" He claimed.

"Sorry kid, but you aren't qualified." I told him.

'It's better for you this way.' I thought.
