After what feels like an eternity the doorbell rang. I tried to get up from the couch as fast as I could, but it took me some time. As I was at the door and opened it for Max he just gave me a hug and said nothing. This is the moment, you know shit is getting real. Max Verstappen, the cold hearted guy, giving you a long hug. After a few seconds he let go of me and held me at an arm length. He looked at me very concerned. "Rubs, what is going on here? And where is Poppy?" I nodded to her room. "OK good. But you know what, pack her bags and yours and we'll leave. RIGHT NOW!"

rubysmith Hey guys! As some of you may have noticed, I had to end my season. I wanted to get back-to-back Championships, but God had other plans for me. I'm more than happy to grow a little human in my body. After long discussions I will be back in F1 next season. It's my home, my family. Everything I could ever ask for! So stay tuned.

About half an hour after the post the front door opens. I could hear Sascha throwing his stuff on the floor. I could follow his footstetps into the kitchen. Oh no. I'm supposed to cook. But I was sick so badly, I didn't have time. Also toys were lying aroung in the open livingroom. "Ruby! Come here! You were supposed to cook! You little piece of shit. Nothing you can do right!" he screamed through the apartment. I got up and startet walking downstairs to the kitchen when I heared him coming towards me. He was fuming and screaming. "Why do you stay home, when you do nothing? You don't cook my food, the laundry is done by our housekeeper. the only thing you do is being pregnant. You don' even look hot anymore. Can you for once just dress up for me, so I have more fun?" Here it goes again. It began when I announced that I'm out for the rest of the season and stayed at home. One day after training I got home and caught him in bed with some German TV girl. And that wasn't the only time. He always get on with her behind my back. I asked him, why he still is with me and he told me, that he needs the fame. Otherwise he wouldn't be as popular as he is. He screwed up big time before with his ex and now he needs to have a better image.
Suddenly I felt something hitting my face. He just slapped me. Sometimes he pulled my hair, pushed me towards doors and stuff, but slapping was never the case until now. I immediatelly went downstairs, grabbed Poppy and ran. I didn't have my phone, purse or anything on my. Not even keys. I just grabbed my child and run. Luckily Alex Albon lives 2 floors below me. I went to his and rang. Panic started rising as he didn't open up and I heared footsteps behind me. I wanted to start cring when suddenly "Ruby, is that you?" Lily was there. Thanks god! "Hey Lily, Poppy and me wanted to go out a bit and wanted to ask if you come along? Silly me forgot her keys too." Lily smiled and let me in. We drank a tea and talked for hours. Then when it was already late, I went back home.
Sascha was there, but he wasn't alone. She was lying naked on the sofa and he went back to her. I just got Poppy and lyied her down in her room. Afterwards I went to the pantry, grabbed something to drink and went straight to bed.
Little did I know that this will be my new everyday life.
End of Flashback
Within minutes the doorbell rang and I got a notification on my doorcam. I opened it on my mobile and saw Max standing there together with Alex. I was so happy but then I saw Sascha coming around the corner. What do I do now? I ran towards the closet and went in together with Poppy and tried to hide. I can't do this anymore, my body is hurting, my mouth still tastes like blood and I can't cover all the bruises any longer. Then I heared the door open. "Ruby, where are you?" I heared Max. I hold my breath and listened closer. "Ruby, alex is here with me. Sascha is not your problem anymore, Daniel and Lewis are there to help with him!" As I heared this, I came out.
As I went downstairs I couldn't believe what I was seeing there. It can't be that he did it again! He fooled me! And then I felt a hit on my head. Everything went black....
