Chapter eleven

If you ever told me a year ago that one day I'd get so involved in someone else's life to the point of stealing private archives from a hospital and play the detectives , I would have laughed at your face .

Even Blake is surprised to see me this invested . But my love for Ayla has never been a secret to anyone , I was desperately and excruciatingly in love with her , I still am, and that made both of my friends reluctant about my loyalty towards them .

And they were right to feel this way , because I would betray anyone for her , I would betray myself for her .

Having the honor to be called hers a year ago was the best that has ever happened in my life ,because when I looked at Ayla Yildiz every single time , all I could feel was gratitude and pride to have her by my side , she was my everything and I want it to remain this way .

The day she disappeared my life stopped making sense , I was feeling dead again , and now I finally get to have her , no matter what happened to her that led her to this life ,I will figure it out , and I will help her through it , and I will make sure to destroy anyone or anything that will keep her away from me.

"Well it seems like we are surely dealing with a psycho" Blake says throwing the file about Susanne Ritz , an ex nurse that used to work at Zuckerberg Hospital .

I went early this morning to the hospital with Abel , we asked about the nurse but as expected it was forbidden to give any personal information about her at the reception , but thankfully Abel managed to distract the receptionist and I got to download everything about that nurse in a usb .
Then we printed the archives to make it easier and turns out , the woman was fired a couple months ago after they discovered some filthy shit she has been doing .

" I mean , we are kinda dealing with a nurse who tried to overdose her patients , and used the substances on herself , psycho for sure " Abel commented and I couldn't help the grimace deforming my face.
This woman in fact got so annoyed of her whiny patient that she would increase the amount of sleeping pills and calming drugs just to not hear them anymore , lucky her this didn't went to the point she'd get arrested .

"Now , what do you think this could ever do with Ayla ?" Abel asks once again and I look over at him .

We were all in Abel's appartement , me on the couch , Blake on the armchair , his legs crossed while he rested his head over his hand , slightly tilted to the side , and Abel on the floor , reading the other files to try and find any other hint .

" There is only one way to find out" Blake chimes in and I roll my eyes .

"You're going to talk to her ?" Abel asks .

"Nope , K will talk to her and I will get inside and look around" Blake replies and I shake my head .

"Why don't you try to distract her and I do the research ?"

"We both know I'm not patient enough to play nice brother"he defends and I give up .

For some unexplained reasons , Blake and Abel are extremely invested in this story , I'm not quite sure if it is to actually help me or if they are just too bored with their own lives .

"You guys should go tonight ?" Abel says , putting down the files on the coffee table .

"Nah , not tonight" Blake replies before I could do it , making me frown .
