It was as clear as day now, Clay had obviously cheated.

"...what?"

"The hickey on your neck, Clay!"

Clay knew exactly what George was talking about.

"..George.."

George's eyes started to water, he was in shock.

"Who gave you that." George asked as he sobbed.

"What are y-" Clay was cut off.

"Are you fucking serious? You cheated on me?!"

Tears laid on the cusp of Clay's eyes, looking as if they were going to spill at any second, "Look- It was a mistake!"

"I bet it was. Let me guess, it was probably over the weekend wasn't it? When you were so busy helping Nick and Alex!" George started to raise his voice slightly more.

"I'm so sorry.." Clay really messed up he knows he did.

"Tell me who you cheated on me with." George demanded.

"George- I don't-"

"Now."

There was a moment of silence; Clay hesitated before answering.

"Fundy.."

George knew it was coming, he just didn't want to believe it.

"no.." he whispered, "Tell me you're fucking lying Clay."

"I'm so sorry, George! Please can we work this out-"

"Work this out?! Fuck no! Drop me off home!" George yelled.

Clay just looked at him, he didn't really think there was any coming back from what he did.

"I knew dating you would be a mistake." George mumbled so quietly that Clay barely heard it.

His heart shattered into millions of pieces just from hearing those words while seeing George cry.

He hurt the boy he loved. He gave Clay his delicate heart just for it to be stepped on.

He felt terrible.

The two sat there in silence; uncomfortable silence.

"Why did you do it?" George finally spoke up once everything had calmed down.

"...I don't know."

"You don't even know? Do I really mean that little to you?"

That really shot an arrow through Clays heart.

How could George say that? He means the world to him.

"Don't say that.." Clay said softly, keeping his eyes on the road.

"Then why, Clay?"

Clay could only shrug.

George sighed, "The least you could do is tell me what I did wrong"

Clay hesitated, "You didn't do anything."

George scoffed and rolled his eyes.
