“Son?” she called before he could exit their doors.

He looked back with a smile on his face.

“I know he’s been waiting for this…”

Gerald smirked

“Thank you son… this means so much to me” mommy Vangie added.

He nodded and with his hands inside his pockets, he left without saying a word.

“Ge, may problema ba?” Sarah asked noticing his silence.

He shook his head and took another quick kiss at her hand. Not convince at all, she just stared at him while he continued to focus on the road.

“Is it about us? Are you having…”

Gerald instantly looked at her “What?” he asked surprised. He continued driving as he holds her hand tighter.

“Eh… bakit ang tahimik mo? At saan tayo pupunta?” she asked again, bothered by his actions.

He half-heartedly smiled without looking at her “I should have brought you there years ago…”
