I open the door to see Isobel standing there. What does she want now?

"Hello, Bella and Elena. It's nice to see you again." Isobel stated, staring directly at me and Elena.

Jenna looks at us. "Again?"  she questions. Not knowing what to say I glance at Elena, to see she is equally stunned.

"So, you're the woman who's dating my husband. I need to speak to Elena." Isobel declared, turning her attention to Jenna. "May I come in?"

"N-n-no. Don't...don't invite her in..." I started.

"I need to talk to you, Elena." Isobel interrupted.

"No!" Elena shouted, slamming the door in Isobel's face.

I turn around and only realise now that Jenna is crying. "You knew she was still alive? Ric? John? Did they know?" she asks. "I can explain everything, Jenna." Elena assured. "No." Jenna demanded. "No. Jenna, please." I begged.

Jenna runs up stars bawling her eyes out. "Jenna wait," Elena runs after her. Shit what are we going to do?

Elena opens the door to Alaric.

"Hey. Is she up yet?" Alaric questions, walking into the house.

"She won't come out of her room," I huffed. "What'd you tell her?" he adjured. "Nothing. She won't talk to me or Bella," Elena answered. "We're going to fix this, Elena," Alaric reassured. "We have to." I retorted.

Jenna comes down the stairs, "Hey."

"Jenna..." Alaric started. "I don't want you here, Ric." she began, "You need to go." "Okay, listen. I can't begin to imagine what you must be feeling right now," Alaric confessed, taking a step towards her. Anger began to consume Jennas face. "Rage and betrayal would pretty much cover it." She growled.

Jenna begins to put on her jacket and takes her bag.

" Where are you going?" Elena perused.

"I'm going to stay on campus. I have a thesis to write, and I don't want to be in this house." Jenna hissed. "Jenna, please just stop. Let us explain to you exactly what is going on," I tried to explain. "Elena, I need you to go to the Lockwood's today and accept the Historical Society's check for your mom's foundation." Jenna changed the conversation. "Okay, but, Jenna, please just..." Elena began. "I don't have it in me to hear any more lies from you." Jenna sobbed, slamming the door shut.

"Jenna, just..." Alaric started.

John comes out of the kitchen. Great just what we needed.

"Let her go. It's better that she's not here, what with everything that's going on, but maybe had you been a little more honest with her from the beginning, this..." Alaric interrupted John by punching him in the face. Someone had to do it.

 "Sorry, Elena, Bella," Alaric leaves.

I look at John with a sarcastic smile, "You know this is all your fault, right?"
