The Hybrid

Me, Klaus and Stefan are walking in the Smoky Mountains. Stefan is carrying Ray, unconscious, on his shoulders.

"You, okay? Is Ray getting heavy?" Klaus jokes.

"I'm fine." Stefan huffs.

"You sure about that? You know, we've been walking for quite some time now. If you need some water or a little sit-down..."Klaus begins.

"You know, I get that we're, uh...we're stuck together, but if we could maybe just skip the chitchat, it'd be great." Steffan hisses.

"So much brooding. Your self-loathing is suffocating you, my friend." Klaus smirks.

"Maybe it's 'cause I'm a little tired of hunting werewolves. We've been at it all summer." Stefan sighs.

 "Thanks to our pal Ray, we found ourselves a pack. There." Klaus points his head over to the left.

We stop. We found the pack's camp. Stefan enters their camp. Everyone looks at him. He puts Ray on the ground. 

A woman rushes over to him. "Ray! Oh, my God. What's going on? Who are you?"

Me and Klaus joins Stefan.

"The important question is who am I." Klaus starts.

 "Here we go," I roll my eyes.

"Please forgive the intrusion. My name is Klaus." He introduces.

"You're the hybrid." The woman starts to back off.

Klaus smiles. "You've heard of me. Fantastic."

Me, Klaus and Stefan sit down on a log. 

"It's fascinating, actually...A werewolf who isn't beholden to the moon, a vampire who doesn't burn in the sun. A true hybrid." Klaus starts talking but is interrupted by Ray gasping for air, waking up.

"Excellent timing, Ray. Very dramatic." Klaus states.

"What's happening to me?" Ray gasps.

"Stefan?" Klaus shifts his attention to Stefan.

Stefan gets up. "Are any of you human? Your friend here needs human blood to complete his transition to vampire. If he doesn't get it, he will die."

"Doesn't take much, just a sip. Anyone? A boyfriend, a girlfriend, along for the ride?" Klaus adds.

"Why can't your friend do it?" A woman says turning her attention to me.

Klaus deminer changes all of a sudden. "She is mine. Anyone that will dare go near her will suffer to me."

I turn my attention to Klaus to see he is already looking at me. I thought he just wanted to annoy Elena or something, I didn't expect that. I guess he does really like me.

Klaus breaks eye contact looking around until his eyes land on a man. "You!" Klaus rushes over to him and bites his forearm. Stefan grabs him, throws him on the ground in front of Ray. The woman protests but Klaus strangles her.

"If you don't drink it, Ray, I will. Problem is I don't know how to stop." Stefan threatens. 

Klaus looks at the girl. "It's the new order, sweetheart. You join us, or you die."

"I'd rather die than be a vampire." The woman spits.

"Wrong choice." He shoves his wrist in her face and forces her to drink his blood. Ray drinks the blood from the man.

"She'll thank me for that later. Heh." He twists her head and kills her.

"Okay, who's next?" Klaus' eyes are yellow, and his fangs are out.
