The Reckoning

I am currently waiting for Klaus outside Mystic Falls High school. He decided to leave me here after telling me he had some business to attend to. It's night-time and the students are preparing for senior prank night. I really hope Klaus doesn't find out Elena's alive. I suppose it's inevitable. Klaus has been snapping Stefan's neck all day out of anger. I feel sorry for Stefan, he has to deal with Rebekah when he wakes up.

Out of boredom, I decide to walk through the hallways into the gym. A few students are setting up pranks.

All of a sudden Klaus comes marching in. "Attention, seniors. You have officially been busted. Prank night is over. Head on home."

I laugh, "that was a shit American accent." 

"Bella..." I notice Elena in his arms. 

"Hi Elena." I whisper.

"I told you to stay outside," Klaus growls at me. He sees Dana and another student. He gets closer to them and speaks with his normal voice. "You two. I remember you."

"I'm sorry. Who are you?" Dana questions.

"Oh, don't worry, I wasn't in my right head last time we met." He compels her. "Lift your foot up, please, Dana."

She does so. He looks at the boy. "If she drops her foot, Chad, I want you to beat her to death. Understood?"

Chad nods.

"That's a bit much," I comment.

"Don't, Klaus. You don't have to hurt anybody." Elena pleas.

"Oh, come on, love. Of course, I do." Klaus smiles.

"You really don't." I state.

Dana is struggling to stay on one foot.

"Keep it up." Klaus demands."Where's Stefan? What did you do to him?" Elena questions."Stefan's on a time out." Klaus smirks.

The doors open. Bonnie and Matt enter.

"Bonnie, get out of here!" Elena shouts.

Klaus rushes over to Bonnie. "Ah, I was wondering when you'd show up. Now we can get started." He looks over at Dana. "Ah, Dana, why don't you relax? You and Chad sit tight." He looks at Bonnie. "I assume you're the reason Elena's still walking around alive?"

"That's right. If you want to blame someone, blame me." Bonnie states."Oh, there's no need for blame, love. Just your witchy interference seems to have caused some undesirable side effects. And since you caused the problem, I'm going to have you find the fix." Klaus remarks.

Rebekah enters with Tyler. 

"Get off of me!" Tyler screams.

"Hush now." Rebekah hushes.

"I'd like you all to meet my sister Rebekah. Word of warning...She can be quite mean." Klaus smiles.

"Don't be an ass." She throws Tyler into Klaus' arms.

"Leave him alone!" Elena shouts. 

"Elena, I love you, but can you stop whining about everything." I add making Elena glare at me.

Klaus smiles at me. "I'm going to make this very simple...Every time I attempt to turn a werewolf into a vampire hybrid, they die during the transition. It's quite horrible, actually."

He bites his wrist and makes Tyler drink his blood. "I need you to find a way to save my hybrids, Bonnie. And for Tyler's sake...You better hurry." He twists his head and kills him. Elena, Matt and Bonnie are shocked. Klaus smiles.

Dana and Chad are sitting on the floor. Matt is next to Tyler's body. "He killed him."

"He's not dead. Klaus' blood will turn him into a vampire." I state.
