Zacharie had managed to convince his mother to take him out of school earlier so Dan's last encounter with Zacharie was his last one for the day. Hell, it might be his last one for good. No way is Zacharie gonna return his love for the other after he's been such an ass for no logical reason. He constantly checked for anymore love letters from his admirers but there were none. He sat his forehead on the navy blue locker next to him. "Dan. What is wrong, man!?" One of his friends approached him and nudged his shoulder.

"This world."

"Man, you seem down. Did Monica dump ya? We can get high on something if ya want." One of  offered but Dan was not alright with that.

"Ya wanna... You know... With Moni?"

"No, I'm going to break up with her." Dan stated bitterly and all his friends stared at him with disbelief. "Dumping!?" They both exclaimed. It was hard to tell if they were in shock or just happy there was a chance with that babe. Dan closed his locker loudly and went without them. He needed to cool his mind off or better yet, actually confront Zacharie and apologize for being a Jackass to someone who actually was there for him. He decided the library was best. At least it was quiet and had barely anyone around that wanted to talk to him. He could get some work done too. He sighed and held his backpack over his shoulder as he went to the library. It luckily wasn't long, it was close to the school and it took him little energy. He greeted the lady at the front desk before flopping down on a table that was away from most people and sighed. He grabbed a book near him and didn't really read it and doodled in the margin. He just need some quiet but that didn't come easy when someone smacked a book on his hand. "Please don't draw on the books." Dan looked up and was happy to see Zacharie but the skin around his eyes were red from rubbing them and he was obviously not pleased to see Dan. "Hey..." Dan softly started and Zacharie just turned his heels. It was obvious that Zacharie still wanted Dan judging by how slow his walking was. Dan smirked a little and got up following Zacharie. "Please go away."

"Why? I'm just looking at a book."

"Then please go look for quite book some other way." Zacharie let out a yelp as he was pressed up against the bookshelf. "I'm not looking for a book. I'm looking at a book. Meaning, I'm looking at you." There was an awkward silence between them and Zacharie turned away with a book covering his face. "I'm sorry..."

"Yeah... That line was really, really bad."

"That's not what I meant!" He  gently shook Zacharie while the other whined in discomfort. "I'm apologizing for something else!"

"There's nothing for you to apologize for. You aren't making sense."

"Zacharie, I'm apologizing for not loving you they way I should have." Dan sighed while Zacharie looked at him oddly. "You don't even love me."

"Ok, when have I said that? When have I said that I don't love you."

"Well...." Zacharie shuffled around but Dan held him still.

"Never said it." Dan sighed and noticed Zacharie was shaking a little. "What's with you wanting me all of the sudden? Now... Now you're starting to act like you're 10!" Zacharie sobbed. "I just.. I can't take this." Dan frowned and just held Zacharie tight. "I'm sorry." He repeated over and over softly in his ear. Zacharie just flinched and tried leaning away. "I truly do love you." Dan sighed. "Its all because my pride came into my head. I only forced myself to hate you but I never really did. I'm so sorry."

"That's why?" Zacharie asked and Dan nodded.

"I'm selfish, I'm sorry. I thought about something that can't bring me happiness over something that could." Dan frowned.  Zacharie stopped sobbing before cracking up. "You're so cheesy." He laughed. Dan sighed, "forgive me?"

"I love you so you're forgiven." Zacharie smiled

"Makes two of us." Dan purred and nuzzled Zacharie close.

"Wh-What are you doing?"

"Ten years ago, you're answer is yes, I love you."

Zacharie laughed. "You're so fucking cheesy."

"Well, I'm cheesy when I'm in love." Dan gently grabbed Zacharie's arm which made the other jump a little. He looked at all the cuts and frowned. "All for me?"

"All for you." Zacharie frowned and nearly jolted when he felt Dan kiss his arm.

"I'll care less about being selfish and more for you." Dan hummed. "Happy ending?"

"Happy ending." Zacharie nuzzled him and laughed softly. Little do they really now that their happy ending was about to be cut short by Dan's possy.
