The sun brightened and the birds were singing. Your clock alarm rang, you turned it off and woke up. You took a look at your clock and it was 05:30 am, you got up from your bed and prayed, thanking God for one more day to live - then, you wore your clothes, brushed your teeths and went to eat your breakfast.
"Morning, honey." Your mother kissed you "Morning, mom!" And you did it in your mother, your father and your brother. All of you ate your breakfast.
The door knocked, you got up "Don't worry, I'll do it.". You opened the door: there was Carrie waiting outside, you smiled and hugged your friend. "Carrie!! Good morning!!" You are very excited to see her. Carrie hugged you back "Good morning, Y/N! So, are you ready to school?" She asked. "Oh, yes! Just give me a second. And please, enter here!'' Carrie walked at your room and sat, waiting on the couch. You ran to pick some stuff like your notebook, books and pencil. "Mom! dad! I'm going to school. Carrie arrived here and (B/N), Don't mess with my stuff, okay?" Your brother sighed and kept eating his pancakes.
"Ok, dear! We hope you girls have a nice day!" Both of them answered, you hugged both of your parents strongly "I love you!" and then kissed your younger brother. "Bye, sis!" You just patted his head. Then, you walked back to Carrie. "Ready!" She smiled and you went outside together.
On your way, you and Carrie were walking to school. This was the first time she didn't go to school alone like usual. When both of you arrived it, the mean kids kept mocking at you but again, you didn't care since while you are united. Your day of school was normally fine until when you went to library. While you was studying math, Carrie was looking for more telekinesis' book until Tommy came next to her.
"Hi Carrie." She got scared and didn't know how to react. "Hi.".
"How are you?" He asked, trying to sound friendly. "Okay." She answered.
"Good. What are you doing?" Carrie didn't have any eye contact yet. She was really scared. "Reading." She said in a low tone.
"Yeah? And what are you reading?" He reaches a bit, trying to see which books are she seeing. "It's about sewing." Carrie tries to hide those books.
"Sewing. That's good." He commented. "If you don't have a date for the prom next Friday, would you like to go with me?" He invited Carrie. Her reaction wasn't so positive as he thought.
"What?" Her eyes were widened.
"To the prom." He smiled to her. "It's next Friday. I know this is late notice, but..." Before he finished, Carrie ran away. Tommy tried to call her but no answers. While you was reading, you noticed Carrie running to the door. "Hey, Carrie!" You tried to call her but she didn't hear you. You looked behind and saw Tommy there. You just shrugged and ran after Carrie.
Outside, you was running to catch her up. "Carrie!! Carrie!! Please, wait!" you screamed at her, but no success yet. You kept following her until she stopped into an isolated corner, where she sat alone. "C-carrie..?" You was panting from tiredness, then you just sat in her side. When you was going to ask her, you could hear Miss Collins calling from you.
"Carrie! (Y/N)! Oh, I found you." Miss Collins saw Carrie, who was looking down. "Hey, Carrie, what's the matter?".
"(Y/N), there's something wrong to Carrie?" She asked at you. "I don't know, Miss Collins. We were at library right now, but suddenly I saw her running like she saw a ghost - I tried to ask her but she hadn't hear me, so I ran following her until we stopped here.". Miss Collins just nodded, understanding your explanation - so, she returned her attention to Carrie.
