14:30 p.m, it was raining outside. With thunder and lightning, you are in your bedroom, lying on your bed while reading a magazine. You were scared from the thunder' sound and ran to look out your window. Between the houses, you saw Carrie's house but she was outside there. "Oh no! What is she doing there?? I must help her." You wore a raincoat, picked a blanket and put it in your bag. You took some cloths and made a kind of vine and tied it to a part of the headboard of your bed. Your luck is that your bed was kind of heavy, so there was no risk of you falling and having an accident, should you come down slowly. You ran at Carrie's house and found the girl in a situation that killed you inside. She had slap's mark on her cheek and she was crying while trembling from the cold. "Oh, Carrie..." She looked at you and ran at you to just hug you while crying a lot. Her eyes were all red, you couldn't hold yourself and just cried back. You took Carrie and hugged her tightly. After, you pick the blanket out and covered her around until her head, to make her feel warm. "Want you go to my house? It's raining here and it's dangerous to stay alone." Carrie agreed and you held her hand, so you walked to your house. Carrie slowly up your cloths' vine and entered to your window, Carrie held that and then, you entered back and closed the window.

"Please, dear, sit there." Carrie sat on your comfortable bed politely. You sat on her side and still covered her with that blanket. "Are you feeling warm?" She nodded and thanked you. So, Carrie laid her head on your breasts while you just allowed and caressed her hair affectionately.

"So..what were you doing alone, outside from your house?" You asked her, feeling worried about her.

"Mama punished me and locked me outside." She said in a crying tone, and she was sniffing again. You felt your tears falling down but needed to keep calm to understand and try to help your loved friend. "And why did she do it to you?" You kept caressing her hair "Because momma's very mean towards me. Everything for her is sin including intercourse  and if I disagree with her, she locks me up for hours in a small closet to pray for forgiveness. Once, she forced me to pray because I had my first period." Your face was in shock "What??!! I can't believe I'm listening to this. Damn, this isn't a mother - It's a monster!!"

"Carrie, forgive me for being disrespectful - but your mother isn't exactly a real mother, but a monster. Like, what kind of mom would hit and lock your daughter to pray for hours because she just had a period??" Carrie noticed how mad you were feeling, but she couldn't help except to agree with you. Margaret never had been a real mother that Carrie deserved and needed. You looked next to Carrie' face and noticed one of her cheek were hurt, like someone slapped her. "Oh my God.. Carrie, did your mother also do that to you?" Carrie felt your soft hand at her hurt cheek and felt embarassed to tell, but you guaranted that it was okay - so, she nodded as answer. "And it hurt so bad..?" She nodded again. "Ok. I'm gonna bring some medicine and some ice - it will make you better."

"You can do that?" She questioned. You answer with a kind smile "Yes, now wait here that I'll come for a second." This time, Carrie smiled as acknowledgment. So you opened the door and walked at your kitchen to make some icy compress and pick some pills with a glass of water. Your mother thought it a bit suspectful, wondering if you was sick but you said her with a little forced smile that it wasn't and you ran to your bedroom. ''My daughter's so weird.." She shrugs, but she returned back to sew.

Back to your room, you sat next to her slowly and gave her the medicine - Carrie accepted and drank that, after you gave her an icy compress. "Stay with her for some minutes, I promise it will pass quickly." She thanked you and did that. You returned the conversation.
