I bolted out those double glass doors, elated to see the light. This dude's house was too dark for my liking.

Again.

I was surrounded by trees yet again. "Come on!" I whined, throwing my head back in annoyance. A shiny forest-green sports car caught my attention. I snuck closer to it, smiling as I saw the keys in the car.

"Pretty."

Maybe I do have a chance to survive this. I looked around, making sure I was alone, then slipped into the passenger seat. The interior design looked black from the outside, but it was white.

I ran my finger through the leather dashboard, loving the expensive new car smell. This has to be the first time I've ever been in such a car. My fascination was cut short as soon as I heard yelling. In honesty, I've never scrambled to a seat that fast, as I did to the driver's seat. I then started the car and drove off down the asphalt road. I haven't seen enough movies to know how to drive, but I know the basics of it.

I may be driving through bushes, and knocking down small trees but I don't care as long as I'm escaping.

I look at the crooked rearview mirror, scoffing a laugh at the situation I was in. I've been running away from everyone for the past 2 days. I am in desperate need of a bathroom and I'm starving. I feel like I'm digesting my organs.

A crimson red Lambo caught my attention in the sideview mirror, it was gaining on me fast. My eyes widened in shock and horror, making me stomp on the accelerator, and get pushed back into the driver's seat by the intensity. I side-eye the window and grin like a lunatic. The trees were zooming past and it felt like I was time-traveling.

"Oh, crap," I mumbled as I saw men dressed in black ahead. They were in a line, protecting the gigantic large gate that I was supposed to use. The name 'TORRONO' was written in bold letters. This must be some important person's land. And I'm running away as my life depends on it. "Now either I run them down, killing them in the process, or I run into the forest."

No time to think, I am not committing murder. Assault is one thing but culpable homicide? Yeah, I'm not going to a juvenile detention. Losing my scholarship is not an option. I worked damn hard to get that scholarship.

I'd rather take my chances with wild animals in the forest, cause one way or another, I have to escape.

My foot hit the brakes, and I realize something vitally important a little too late. . .

I didn't put my seatbelt on.

My nose crashed against the steering wheel, so hard, I was sure I broke it. "Holy shit." I squealed, throwing my head back and cupping my nose simultaneously getting out of the car in a hurry. I began sprinting into the forest without looking back.

Tears stung my eyes, my hand shaking as I clutched it against my nose. The adrenaline masked my fear, my legs taking me further and further.

The red car's engine came to a halt, and from there I started hearing someone chase me. The thing about this was how fast these footsteps were closing in on me!

Fear pulsated throughout my bloodstream and I feared I was about to get a heart attack. I hate being chased. The prospect of a person or animal chasing me, gives me anxiety.

My heartbeat was in my ears, and I was sweating everywhere. Minutes later I got picked up and thrown over a shoulder. "Let me go!" I yelled hitting this person's back with my fists. "I want to go home!" My eyes stung with fresh tears about to fall, this time, it was because of defeat.

My nose, all but pulsed with pain.

I was thrown into the red car's passenger seat, and suddenly, ropes brought around my torso and arms, restricting me. The unknown man pulled back and patted the top of my head with a content smile.
