Callow

Dear, Wren

Something about the way you were so callow, it was one of my favorite things about you to be honest.

I loved teaching you things, you always told me to become a teacher. Though I didn't want to stand in front of kids for hours a week, I only wanted to stand in front of you.

When I told you that you were callow you asked what it meant. I said it meant you were inexperienced and immature, you were so offended I had to buy you three rocky road ice cream tubs.

It just proved my point. Though I think you knew that, you just wanted ice cream and knew I would buy it for you.

After you and me ate one of the tubs you said you felt wrong eating all three of these and we handed out ice cream to all the kids that had gotten out of school that day.

You made me a better person.

When I asked why you were so nice to people you would never see again you said.

"Because no one should ever be left out, if they are then they'll never feel wanted. Everyone is wanted."

I'm still nice to people, I make sure their included and wanted. Just like you always did.
