Chapter 6: Star Bright Star Light

Zayn's P.O.V.

"Yes."Ashley said.

"Really?"I replied.

"No. Not really."Ashley said sarcastically. I lifted her up and spun her around. I put her down. I kissed her longingly. She was mine!

I mouthed Emma to lead everybody out so that we can talk. She mouthed back a yes.

"I love you."I told her.

"I love you too."she answered with a kiss.

"Would you like to go on a stroll with me? It could be considered as a get-to-know-each-other-as-lovers-way."I said.

"I would love to."she said. We went out her house hand in hand and strolled down their street. Since they lived by the seashore, we decided to just lie down by the beach. Her head was on ny chest.

"Zayn."she said.

"Mhmm."I answered.

"Do you really mean that you love me?"she suddenly blurted out.

"Of course! Why would you say that?"I asked worriedly.

"It's just that...I'm afraid that I might lose you again. You abandoned me for years and when you come back, you suddenly love me. I'm so confused. You had the guts to abandon me and you also have the guts to tell me that you love me."she said while crying. Wow. I didn't even know that I broke her heart very bad.

"Shhh. Don't cry, babe. I'll never leave you. Ever. I promise. I love you more than my hair."I said. She was still crying.

"You know what? See those two stars?"I pointed to the two brightest stars that I could see in the sky."Those two stars will symbolize my love for you. My love for you stands out from all the others. Like those two stars. They stand out in the whole sky."

"You ARE my world."I exclaimed. I kissed her on the lips.

"Zayn, I wanna hear your beautiful voice."she told me through closed eyes.
