"would you like some more?" julia asked sieana as she held up the bottle of white wine
the dinner was coming to an end as all plates were almost clear. during the dinner the conversation was light, never to loud or to personal
sieana found herself liking this family. wishing this was how her family was growing up but no, it consisted of argument between her and her mother
"yes, please" she said sweetly, holding up the clear wine glass
julia poured the bubbly substance til it was just a little at the brim before asking the other two humans at the table if they wanted more
ariel saying no, her father saying yes
"are you two staying the night?" joe asked, placing the piece of steak he just cut off into his mouth
ariel and sieana exchanged a look
sieana cleared her throat
"actually i cant, i have somewhere to be" she sipped her white wine, staining her red lipstick on the rim
"really? where?" ariel asked, her eyes snapping up from the lip stick stain
"can i talk to you in private?" she asked, wiping her hands with the cloth provided to her
swallowing, ariel looked at her parents
"s-sure" she stammered nervously and stood up
sieana picked up her glass as she followed ariel to a private place which was her backyard
an old swing set was out in the yard and fairy lights hanging above their heads
"whats wrong?" ariel asked, shoving her hands into her pockets as a whiff of cold air blew by
sighing, sieana again, sipped her white wine and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear
without looking at ariel she said,
"im going out of town."
ariel froze
"w-what?"
"yes, me and my sister, haley, are going to visit my dad back in new york for a couple of days"
she has a sister? ariel thought
"oh..."
sieana turned around and made eye contact with ariel who quickly looked down shyly
ariels ponytail swayed with the force of the wind. the fairy lights highlighting all her facial features that sieana couldnt help but admire
"i want you to come with me" she blurted
when silence fell upon them, she finally realized what she said
"i- unless y-you dont want to" she stammered, surprising herself even more
me? stammering? what the fuck?
"o-of course i-i want to" ariel retorted shyly
another silence fell on them and sieana took a sip of her white wine to ease her new found nerves
"great" she cleared her throat. "we...we leave tuesday so get packed, we'll be staying for four-five days at most but pack an extra outfit just in case. i hope you arent afraid of heights because we'll be going on my private jet"
TUESDAY
"haley what did you forget?" sieana sighed as she palmed her forehead
haley sheepishly looked up, "nothing. i thought i forgot my reading glasses but they were on my face whole time"
ariel giggled quietly but not quietly enough as everybody looked at her. she blushed in embarrassment
they boarded the plane and the announcement person gave off the rules such as phones off and seat belts on then once in the air the waitress asked if they wanted something to which everybody answered no
"i thought you said you werent scared of heights" sieana said whilst quirking a brow at the way the brunette dug her nails into her arm chair
ariel chuckled nervously
"i-i c-can explain"
haley let out a small laugh
"shes to cute. poor girl is scared of heights but still wanted to come along" she cooed making ariel blush
jessica grumbled, jealous at the attention ariel was receiving
haley ignored it knowing her sub could be too jealous at times
finally, the plane was stable in the air and they could remove their seat belts if they wanted to which everybody ended up doing
"whats your dad like?" ariel asked curiously
"nice, supportive, fun" sieana summarized
"he kinds of sound like my dad" ariel retorted
"yeah i noticed how similar they were while at your place"
"hold on you met her parents?" haley asked with a surprised voice
ariel looked confused while sieana shot the excited red head a glare
"yes, i did"
"holy shit"
"mistress, may i have some water?" jessica interrupted, wanting attention
lazily, haley waved down the waitress before turning back to sieana and ariel
"thats amazing! well, did you like them?"
"theyre nice." she hummed in reply
ariel yawned again for the up tenth time and sieana placed down her magazine with a sigh
"are you tired?" she asked the brunette who was going to yawn again
she blinked sleepily and nod yes, rubbing her eyes
haley almost cooed dramatically at the sight
her sub had her head on her shoulder as she slept whilst she worked on some new ideas for her well-known fashion company
"theres a room in back"
"no no its—" her mouth spread wide as another yawn escaped, "f-fine"
sieana rolled her eyes and stood up, grabbing ahold of ariels hand
"we'll be back in a hour or so" she said calmly to her sister who only nod with a smirk
"shut up" sieana said
"i didnt even say anything" haley laughed
with a glare still pointed towards the giggling red head sieana showed ariel the way to the back room where a huge mattress was at
"you can sleep in your boxers, i dont mind" sieana said whilst pulling off her shirt and jeans
to tired to notice the fact that sieana was now only in her underwear ariel stripped down to her underwear also and flopped face down on the bed with a sigh
"so tired" she mumbled into the fluffy cover
"get some rest then"
