Alpha Theo (Book 2/3)

Erin POV

"Not fair. Come on. Tell me." Theo has been pressing me to tell him for the past hour we've been sat by the waterfall talking. Well more like Theo trying to get me to tell him what's got me on edge.

It's been years and only my parents and Alice and Danny know. I haven't slept right since. I haven't been able to go to the doctors. I can't stand needles or anything like that. The fear was embedded into me when I was 7 and I haven't been the same since.

I can't tell anyone. Not even Taylor knows. The only reason my parents know is because they found out when I was sleep talking one night and had i nightmare. Otherwise no body would know.

"Please." I just shake my head and go back into my cave. I found this place when I had a metal break down and ran away. I was missing for 4 days before the pack found me and brought me home. I wasn't happy to say the least.

"Alright. But trust me you'll tell me one day." He says it so confidently that it shocks me. I chuckle lightly.

"I highly doubt that. I haven't even told my best friend who I've known for years." I say.

"Trust me. You'll tell me." I don't say anything. Something about him is drawing me to him. Telling me I can trust him. I just can't. It's a psychological impossibility. I can't trust any one any more. I only trust people to a limit.

"Come on. Let's go back to your pack. There probably wondering where we are." Theo says and stands up. He goes behind a tree and I few seconds later a reddish brown wolf appears.

"I like your wolf." I say and scratch behind his ear. He purrs and I smile. For an alpha he's really gentle with me. Most wouldn't let me do that.

"Back in a sec." I say and go behind a tree. I strip and tie my clothes around my ankle and shift it my brown wolf. I walk out from behind the tree and Theo walks up to me and nudges my side.

I turn around and start running back to the pack house. Theo runs beside me. His wolf is twice the size of me. We run into the clearing of the pack house and see most of the pack there just hanging around.

I see Alice on Rykers lap. They must be mates. Mum and dad walk up to us and handed Theo some spare clothes. He took them and walked behind a tree.

"What's going on with you lately Erin? I know you will never be able to get over it but it was years ago. You were fine until a couple of weeks ago. What's going on?" My dad says. I can tell something's off. They don't know the scent like I do. I was there for 5 years. I'd know the scent from 1,000 miles away.

"Erin go shift. We'll talk after the BBQ." I nod slightly and walk back behind a tree. I shift and come put my clothes on. I put my hair in a messy bun and grab a burger.

I walk into the kitchen and sit on one of the many stools. I'm nibble on my burger and after half an hour it's gone. I was deep in thought of what had happened.

"Stop thinking so hard." A masculine voice says. I look to my right and see Danny.

"Hey Danny." I plaster on a fake smile. He sees right threw it and scowls at me. "Not buying it?" I ask. He nods and I sigh and bang my head on the counter. I go to do it again but my head hits an arm.

I growl at Danny while he smirks at me.

"Come on lil' sis. Spill the shit." Danny says. I groan and flip him off.

"Language!" Our mum yells from outside. I groan. We're alone in the kitchen and I sit staring at the counter top. I stand up and grab a glass and fill it with ice cold water.
