Alpha Theo (Book 2/3)

Erin POV

Theo has been distant the past month. I mean he's keeping me in his sight and all that but he isn't talking to me or touching me like hugging or holding me when we sleep. It's bugging me.

"Theo. can I talk to you please?" I ask when I see him walk into the room. He stops and nods leaning against the wall.

"Come here." I ask. He walks over and sits on the other side of the sofa. Werewolf pregnancy only lasts 2 months so I'm half way there and showing quiet a bit.

"What's going on with you? Your being distant. You won't even lay a finger on me. Why? Why Theo? I'm pregnant and your shutting me out." I yell when he sits down.

"I'm fed up of you shutting me out. You won't even talk to me when I'm trying to figure out what's going on. I have a month till this baby comes and I'm not doing it alone." I yell and walk upstairs.

I found out I'm having a boy on my first scan and that was the only scan Theo went to. I was disappointed to say the least.

I lie down on my bed and scream into a pillow before crying with all my might. I wasn't there long before I heard the door open and close.

"Baby, I'm sorry. I was being a dick. I'm so so so so sorry. Please forgive me." Theo says as he pulls the pillow off my face and pulls me into a hug.

"I just don't want to go through this alone. I understand your worried and concerned for the pack but just a little time for me and the pup that's all I'm asking. Not huge amounts. Just an hour a day or something or sit and talk during the evening. Something like that." I mumble into his tear sodden shirt.

"I'm sorry baby. I'm so sorry. I let my worry get the better of me." He says and buries his head in my hair. He breaths deeply and relaxes.

"Come on. I need to show you something." Theo says. He stands up and pulls me with him. He grabs my hand and walks out the door. I follow him and we walk in silence.

"This," he points to a place on the map in Canada. "Is where the rouges are camping out. Tyler's pack is here," he points somewhere else, "he is monitoring the activity. There's been a sudden increase around that are and he says the numbers suddenly dropped yesterday. That means there most likely coming now. What I want you to do is go here. Where they won't find you. I want you to go there until I come back. Taylor and Alice and Adam are going with you-" I cut him off.

"I am not leaving. This is my pack as well now and I'll be damned if you think I'm running off when there after me to let my pack take the hit. Not happening. Nada. Nein. Nope. No." I say as I cross my arms over my chest.

"No your going. It's safer for you and the pup." He argues.

"I'm staying. I'm not a weak Luna who runs off at the first sign of danger. I'm staying here and I'm protecting the women and children in the safe house. Pregnant or not." I say. He growls in frustration but nods reluctantly under my glare.

"Fine. But if you die I will end up killing myself." He says.

"I know and I don't want you to. Your staying right here and looking after the pack." I say and wrap my arms around his torso. He wraps his around my waist and we just hug.

"Come on. We need to think of names while it's calm." I say. He nods and sits at his desk. I sit on his lap and we argue over Nick and Johnny.

"Nick please." I give Theo the puppy dog eyes and he caves instantly.

"Fine. Nick it is." He says. I smirk and peck his nose before climbing off his lap and toward the door. "Where do you think your going?" Theo asks.

"Ice cream and cheese. That's what." I say as he matches my pace. He chuckles and wraps an arm around my waist and stomach.

"I love you Erin Collins." He whispers in my ear.

"I love you too Theo Locket." I whisper back. We get to the kitchen and Taylor and Alice are there.

"Decided on a name yet?" Alice asks. I nod.

"Nick Locket." I say. They nod in approval.

"I like it. Now what are you craving?" Taylor says.

"Ice cream and cheese." I say. She nods and digs out the cheese and ice cream like its the most normal thing in the world.

"Something smells different about you." I say as Taylor walks past me. She shrugs and tries walking off. I grab her wrist and sniff her arm.

"Your pregnant." I deadpan and she turns scarlet.

"When did you find out?" I question. She shrugs.

"About 1 week ago. I was in heat the week before." She says. I nod in understanding and swivel in my chair to dig into my ice cream and cheese combo.

"You told Adam yet?" Alice asks.

"Told me what?" Adam says as he walks in and slings a lazy arm over Taylor's shoulder. She instinctively moves closer and wraps her arm around his torso.

"That your mates pregnant." I say. He doesn't say anything and I turn around to see him grinning like an idiot.

"Really?" He asks. I nod and he sniffs Taylor's neck.

"Yes I'm going to be a daddy." He whisper yells and kisses Taylor. Theo hugs me from behind and sniffs my neck.

"Something doesn't seem right about you." He whispers. "Your scent. It's changed. Again. It shouldn't change until you go into labour." he kisses my neck and I shrug.

"I'm not due for a month. It's fine." I say and he nods and takes some of the ice cream.

The door slams open and Theo spins and growls at whoever slammed the door open. Expecting it to be a pack member and not putting our guard up was a big mistake.

"ROUGES IN THE PACK HOUSE!!!" Someone screams from the living room. Theo grabs my hand and pulls me to the sound of fighting.

A sharp pain goes through my stomach and I keel over.

"Theo. I'm having this pup. Now." I say and grip his hand tight. He growls and shifts and stands over me as I control my breathing.

'Get the pack doctor. Erin has gone into labour.' I hear Theo yell through the pack link. A few minuets later the doctor fights his way through and helps me down to the safe room. Theo follows.

"Stay guard, Alpha." Is all I hear before I pass out from the pain and stress.

A/N I know it's short but I couldn't do anymore and k wanted to leave it on a sort of cliff hanger. Ok I think there's going to be 2 chapters plus the epilogue left.
