Kyle x Cartman

Chapter 2

We walked into the school, me trailing slowly behind Cartman. I walked slowly over to my locker; it was right next to Stans, like usual.

"Hey, Kyle."

"Hey, Stan, what's up?"

" Are you and Cartman like a thing now?"

"ARE WE WHAT??"

"Dude, don't shout. Everyone says you're dating Cartman, and you're always together. Plus, it's obvious you like him"

"..uh... I do not like him."

"Real convincing, Kyle."

"Well, we hang out a lot 'cause he stayed after Ike."

"Kyle, I don't wanna fight; I wanted you and Cartman to come over this weekend, Kenny is gonna come, and I thought it could be like old times."

" I'd like that; I'll ask Eric."

"You just called Cartman Eric, don't bullshit me about your feelings; you've never been good at that."

"Yeah, just because I'm gay doesn't mean I don't have standards."

"Sure, Kyle, whatever helps you sleep at night."

"What do you get out of me saying I like Cartman?"

"Look, Kyle, I know things between us aren't great, but Cartman seems to make you happy. Don't tell him when it's too late."

"Yeah, okay. I'll keep that in mind."

"Plus, we all know you had a crush on him in elementary school."

"I did not. He terrorized me."

"Yeah, and you actively sought out spending time with him because you liked him. You liked that he challenged you and mocked you."

"When did you get so smart?"

"I stopped smoking my dad's weed."

"Well, it seems like it helped a lot."

"Meet Kenny and me at mine at seven on Friday, okay?"

"Yeah, okay, I'll convince Cartman to come."

"He won't need much convincing if you're going."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

Stan laughed, "Kyle, for being so smart, you're so oblivious."

"What are you talking about."

"I gotta get to class; if I'm late again, I'll get detention."

"But wait! What am I oblivious about?"

"If you can't figure it out, nothing will help you."

Stan made his way toward his class. I wonder what he meant by me being oblivious. It doesn't matter, I guess. I'll text Cartman to see if he wants to come up Stans tonight. I opened my phone to text him.
