when Kol saw Bonnie sitting at booth starring at her phone relief washed over him he was glad Bonnie was ok. he and Velia walked over to her she looked up and smiled Bonie stood up and hugged Velia. "i'm glad your ok i didn't know what happen to you", Veila said. "thats why i called you guys here to tell you", Bonnie said. she pulled away and looked at Kol he looked her over for any brusies or rope markings around her wrist. when he didn't see any he smiled and sat down at the booth Bonnie and Veila sat across from him."so what happen", Kol asked Bonnie took a deep breath and told them, she told them how she woke up in on a couch and that Jeremy and Elena where there. they tried to explain to her the life she lived the past three years was fake. they told her that Madsion, Luke, and Eric were compelled to believe that she had been in their life the whole time and that she was to compelled too. She's only been in their lives for five months. she left out the part about Klause being ther."I don't believe them i don't even know them", Bonnie finished."I think you should Bonnie", Veila said.
Bonnie looked at her looked at her like she had lost it, "are you serious right know".
"it soundeds like whoever did this to you was trying to protect you from something think about it you where compelled to forget everything about your previous life and put into some elses its like being in a witness protection program", Veila said.
"Veilas right Bonnie", Kol said, Bonnie glanced at him in disbelief Kol looked down for a few seconds going over something in his head. "Kol", Bonnie said, he looked into her eyes he could see the worry in them. "Bonnie theres something you should know I was going to wait till later but i guess later caught up to me", he said.
"i can't wait to hear this", Veila said Kol glared at her, she sat back with a smirk on her face and crossed her arms over her chest. Kol reached across the table and took Bonnies hand.
"what Jeremy and Elena said is true all of it", Bonnie looked at Kol shocked," what", she whispered in disbelief. "They were your friends at one point in time before events happen", Kol said. "What happen Kol", Bonnie pulled her hand out if his and his face fell. "I can't tell you", he said
"A-a-are you serious right now", Bonnie said.
"Bonnie your not r-", Bonnie cut him off, "don't tell me what I'm not ready to hear or understand. I want to know the truth Kol I want to know why you really brought me on this trip. Why two strangers who claim to be my long lost friends from the past kidnapped me. And I want to knew why your so determined to get my old memories back", Bonnie was infuriated and confused she didn't know what to think or believe anymore. Kol starred into Bonnie's eyes he didn't want to tell her what happened that terrible heartbreaking day in August.
Bonnie sighed in frustration, "Kol", she mumbled. They gazed into each others eyes Bonnie's filled with mixed emotions while Kols stayed blank. "If your not going to tell me everything then I'm not staying here", Bonnie stood up and tried to walk away but Kol grabbed her wrist.
" where are you going"? his voice was hard the blank stare in his eyes seconds ago was gone replaced with a cold hard glare.
"Away from your lies", Bonnie tried to pull her arm out of his grasp but he tighten his grip on her wrist, "Kol your hurting me", Bonnie said. Kol didn't want to cause a scene but he also didn't like it when Bonnie refused to do what he said. He loosen fingers a bit but didn't let go in a second Veila was by Bonnie side and pride Kols fingers off Bonnies wrist. Bonnie smiled at Veila then walked away without looking back. Kol stood up to follow her but Veila stepped in front of him. If looks could kill Veila would be a ghost."Get out of my way Veila", Kol said sternly. "Kol you need to learn the meaning of boundaries", Veila said."I'm not going to ask you again". Bonnie walked outside the Cafe and stood on the curb. She took out her phone and dialed the number Elena gave her. After two rings Jeremy answered the phone. "You were right he won't tell me anything...its not that he doesn't trust me he doesn't me too know".
"Can you be more convincing or is his mind set in stone", Jeremy asked. "You can believe my mind is set in stone", Kols cold voice sent a cold shiver down Bonnie's spine as she turned around shock. she forgot about Kols super hearing his eyes were dark and narrowed at her. He grabbed the phone out her hand, "Bonnie has to go and she won't be back", Kol hung up and shoved the phone in his pants pocket.Bonnies looked past him at the window and saw people attending to what looked like a past out Veila on the ground. Bonnie's eyes widden, "you broke Veilas neck in front of all those people"!
"Yes and I'm tempted to break yours so if you want to stay alive do as I say. Now get in the car we're leaving", Kol said. Bonnie hesitated she didn't want to follow him she didn't want to be anywhere near Kol he was a monster to her and he will never change. she glanced back at Veila threw the window. "Bonnie if you don't start walking I will put you in this car myself", Kol said his back facing her. Bonnie sighed and followed him to the car she got in the passenger seat and starred out the window, "Are we going back to the hotel", she asked
"no",
Bonnie looked at him, "why not my stuff is there". Kol ignored Bonnie and started the ignition. Bonnie threw her hands up in defeat, "god I just want someone to tell me wants going on-", "you want to know the truth Bonnie"!, Kol yelled. "I am the only one who trying to get your old life back and I'm the last person who should want that to happen",
"You say that but I don't believe you", Bonnie said
"Why because Elena and Jeremy told you they were trying to help you. Did they also tell I was a danger and not to trust me"? Kol glanced at her. Bonnie frowned, "something like that", her eyes study him, "you say your the only one helping me but Elena and Jeremy are trying too also". Kol smirked, "if they were really trying to help you why didn't they get to you before I did".
"What are you talking about Kol", "think about it where were they when you first lost your memory. They knew what happened to you yet they didn't come back to Mystic Falls to help you. If they really wanted you to get your old life back you would recognize them by now"?
Kol kept his gaze on the road he felt need to kill someone anyone at this point. Having so much weight on his shoulders was new to him. Usually it took one snap of the neck or a ripped out heart and everything was fine. Kol wasn't use to things going his way and taking it toll on his kindness, Bonnie's resistance, Veila irritating company, the Gilbert siblings reappearance and that damn witch turning on him. All these reason telling him to him change back to the monster he's tries so hard to keep at bay. he didn't want to go back to his old self again but a small part of him missed the ravenous care free man he use to be.
Bonnie had gone quiet after their small argument she didn't have the strength to agrue with Kol anymore. And what he said about Elena and Jeremy got her thinking. Maybe Kol was right or maybe he was trying to manipulate her into not trusting them.
