Bonnie, Elena, and Caroline were sitting a on a blanket in the park at night watching the an old James Bond movie. The small town of Mystic Falls was having a movie night in the park and Caroline begged the girls to go.
"All man guys I'm out of popcorn", Caroline complained.
"Why don't you go get some more", Bonnie suggested.
"If I go get more then I'll miss something",
"anything you miss you've already seen", said Elena.
"Guys you this is one of my favorite movies and I really really don't want to miss a second of it and-", Bonnie stopped Caroline before she could rant on.
"I will happily go get you some more popcorn if you promise not to drag us to another one of these", Bonnie said.
Caroline looked at Elena hoping for back up but she was on Bonnie's side. She didn't enjoy enjoy sitting on the hard ground and watching a movie with crummy sound very much. "Fine", Caroline said displeased and handed Bonnie her popcorn bag. "Do you need a refill too Elena", Bonnie asked, "no I'm ok". Bonnie got up and walked to the popcorn machine.
She asked the guy for two refills, the other being for her. As he handed her the two full bags of popcorn she felt a presence behind her, "Movie night with the girls", Kol asked.
Bonnie turned around and smiled, "yes", "and why wasn't I invited", Kol asked sarcastically.
"Are you a girl?", Bonnie walking away it took Kol a few steps to catch up to her. "No but I like girls".
Bonnie chuckled at his pour humor, l"Well these particular girls don't like you".
"all three of them? ", Kol smirked.
Bonnie turned around to face him while walking backwards , "just the special two".
Kol stopped and smiled a toothy grin, "that's ok there's only one girl I admire".
Bonnie woke in a bed that wasn't hers inside a room she did not recognize. She walked over to a brown dresser with a mirror on it. The mirror had small photos around it Bonnie took one of the photos off the mirror and starred at it. In the photo was Bonnie with two other girls she recognized from her dream. "Elena and Caroline", Bonnie mumbled.
She was more confused now then ever. She put the picture in her pocket and walked over to the closet she threw opened the doors, different colors and styles of clothing hung on hangers, someone lived here. Bonnie left the doors opened and went out into the hall, "KOL", she yelled.
"Down here darling", Bonnie cringed at the name calling and walked down the stairs. She stood in the space between the kitchen and the living room. Kol was standing at the counter by the sink he turned around and look at Bonnie. "How was your sleep", he asked. Bonnie wanted to tell him about the dream she had but a small voice in he back of her head told her not to.
Kol study the expression on Bonnie's face he knew she had something to tell him from the her mouth pressed into a thin line. He wanted for her to tell him but inside she answered with, "fine". Kol didn't believe her nothing was ever fine when they were together. He watched her look around hoping she remember the place but from the blank stare in her eyes he knew she didn't.
"Who's house are we in", Bonnie asked.
Kol smirked, "we are in one of your old best friends house can you guess which on it is".
"Elenas", Bonnie didn't think it was possible to surprise a vampire. Thanks to their super hearing they could hear if something was about to attack them or someone generally just trying to sneak up on them. But some how Bonnie was able to surprise Kol Mikelson an original vampire with one name.
Bonnie sat on the couch in the living room and starred at the black screen of the TV. She felt alone even with Kols presence she desperately missed her friends back home. Kol was starring out the window in the kitchen when he heard Bonnie's footsteps. He turned around, Bonnie was standing in the kitchen with her arms cross and a look on her face that told him she wanted something.
"Kol give me my phone",
"Why so you and the vampire hunter can continue planning your attack against me. No".
"I just want to talk to my friends Kol", Bonnie said
Kol grabbed a cookie out of the white jar next to him and leaned back against the counter. "You mean the friends that don't remember you".
"What are you talking about", "Madison, Luke, Eric, I compelled them to forget you before we left", the shock look on Bonnie's face amused him. "I don't believe you", she said although her expression didn't change.
"Check for yourself then", he tossed Bonnie her phone and she caught it. She scrolled threw her contact list and called Madison the phone rang three times before Madison picked up, "hello Bonnie"?
"Madison", Bonnie smiled, "I've missed you so much"
"i'm sorry I don't know you", Madison said
Bonnie's face fell, "but you said my name",
"it showed up on the on my caller ID",
"right", Bonnie hung up the phone and struggled to fight back tears she couldn't believe Kol would do this to her. Bonnie felt her blood boil with rage she was tired of always being indignation all the time because of Kol. she didn't want to admit it but Kol ran her life he was the reason why she was here. All the decisions she has made on this damn trip were solemnly based off his reaction and she was tired of it and him. She wanted to make her own decisions without him always looking over her shoulder. To hell with him.
"You could have saved yourself the heartbreak if you had just listen to me", Kol softly whispered against Bonnie's ear.
Bonnie turned around in an attempt to slap Kol but he caught her hand in midair.
His eyes darken as he looked down on her, "I wouldn't try that again", Kol said stonily.
Bonnie raised her eyebrows accepting the comment as a challenge and slapped him with her free hand.
Kol dropped Bonnie's hand and looked at her with a menacing glare. "You've ruined my life", Bonnie said bitterly and walked away."I've ruined your life", Kol scoffed he clenched his fist and walked towards the stairs, "TELL ME BONNIE", Kol yelled, "WHO DO YOU HATE MORE ME OR KLAUS".
Bonnie shut the door to Elena's room and slid down it ignoring Kols question. The front door slammed and Bonnie let the tears fall. Seconds later someone or something nocked on the front door Bonnie wiped her eyes and stood up. At this point she didn't care who was standing on the other side if that door. Anything was better then staying in the same house as Kol for another day. Bonnie walked down the stairs and opened the door.
"Jeremy",Bonnie said stun.
Jeremy smiled, "hi Bonnie".
Kol retuned back to the house covered in blood. He went start to the kitchen sink and turned on the hot water. He scrubbed away the sticky red mess and dried his hands on a towel.
"Bonnie I'm back", he yelled.
Kol walked into the space between the kitchen and the living room. He stood at the bottom of the stairs and looked up.
"Come on Darling you can't still be mad at me", Kol yelled
when Bonnie didn't answer he crept up the stairs and went to Elena's room. He stood outside the bedroom door and listened for her breaths. He didn't hear anything so he forced the door opened and walked in. He scoop the area and found no sign of her anywhere.
Kol ran his finger threw his hair in frustration, "I'm gonna have to put a bell on her".
He walked out the room and down the first of stairs. He stopped at the top of the second set and started at the opened front door. He knew he closed it when he came in somebody was here.
"Bonnie"?, he called out
