You know when I bought my floor ticket for Seventeen's concert in Toronto last minute, it never crossed my mind that I would be alone in a new city. But who wouldn't drop everything for their favourite group. I booked a hotel last minute, packed my bags and started my 6-hour drive to Toronto. I wanted to arrive early so I could try to get some merch. My drive consisted of me streaming the lyrics of their songs and getting weird glares from strangers. Rude of them right, like let a fangirl live.
I arrived at my hotel, parked my car and when to get check-ed in my room. On the 25th floor with a nice view of the CN tower, nice for my first time. Put on a nice outfit, got my mini fan since for some reason it was 30 degrees outside when it was freezing that same morning. They really did bring the sun. Once I arrived at the venue, the merch line was already going around the venue. It was crazy to see so many Carats waiting and giving freebies. An experience like no other. Once I got my merch, I went back to my room to cool off and get ready for the concert. Maybe putting on a tiger stripped outfit was too obvious who one my biases was. Got my caratbong and went to wait in line to get in.
Once seated I was mesmerised by the amount of people that kept coming in. Just the 30-minute wait while watching music videos was fun, you could hear the crowd already screaming the lyrics which I was of course apart of. When the moment arrived that the boys got on the stage, I was just so happy I could cry. For the next 3 hours, I was the happiest person on the earth. The sheer amount a band can bring to someone is just so special. I was thankful I got to appear on the big screen to do my little dance and even got to sing the hardest part of Aju Nice to Seungkwan and the rest of the members. Why did they have to pick such a hard part when I barely had a voice left. I said bye to the girls that I meant in my section and asked them to send me the videos that they filmed of me and the screen. They were such sweethearts; I was happy that I wasn't completely alone. Before I could leave the venue, a staff I presumed came to talk to me and handed me a card, a business card with her name on it. As I didn't know why she gave it to me, I just looked at her with the most confused look a person can have on their face until she told me she would like me to audition for Pledis. I was taken aback; I just didn't think street or more like concert scouting was still a thing. She told me to call her tomorrow if I was interested to audition. I told her I would think about it and call tomorrow to discuss. When I finally got to my room, I realised that I was now starving. Makes sense when you spent jumping for over 3 hours. When to grab a bite and explore a little. You took pictures of the night city, it was beautiful, but you couldn't believe people tried to compare it to Montreal, the city you grew up in. On you way up in the elevator it stops at the 15th floor. A tall man came in, but you didn't really pay attention to it. Once you reach your floor you notice the man also followed, as a woman you were scared but remember that you couldn't get in the elevator without a key, odd coincidence you said to yourself. Until you look at the man not far for you. The moment your eyes met is when you internally and scream and die a little but had to act cool so he wouldn't think you were a crazy stalker fan. You just bowed you head a little and said that you enjoyed the concert and that you hope he will have a good rest and a safe flight back home once the tour is done. He looked a little shock but smiled and thanked you. You were about to walk away to your room where you could freak out and scream, but the next words left your jaw on the floor.
"Do you want to spend the night with me?", those words replayed in your mind until you said yes. Why? You don't know either, but your intrusive thoughts won and you both when to his hotel room. The last thing you remembered was that you spend a long night with your celebrity crush and ended up falling asleep in his arms. For the first time in a long time, you sleep well.
