Her name was Rain. She was the type of girl who loved adventures, no matter how big or small. Everyone knew her, except no one really knew her, even he didn't.
Although, he admired the way her eyes would beam when she got the answers right, the way she smiled at those she knew, the hugs she gave to those she cherished, he adored everything about her. What was stopping him? His girlfriend.
"Hey!" She smiled
She noticed the way he looked at her, the way his cheek turned a faint shade of pink when she would wave to him. She giggled to herself, she didn't know his secrets, she didn't know who he really was but she wanted to.
She didn't realize she had been locking eyes with him for so long, she had been walking the entire time until she bumped into someone.
"Who are we staring at today?" They asked
Rain looked up and met a pair of green eyes.
"Silvana! You scared me" Rain spoke
"Who's the guy? You never stare at someone that way" Silvana teased
Rain's brown eyes darted, they looked everywhere except Silvana's eyes. Soon enough, a boy came up to the two. He began to rub his hand on top of Rain's hair causing her hair to get rained.
"Nathaniel! Don't ruin her hair" Silvana exclaimed
Silvana delicately fixed Rain's hair.
"You're such a jerk" Rain mumbled
"What was that?" Nathaniel asked
"She said you're a jerk" Silvana answered
Nathaniel rolled his eyes then left, he was heading to his next class. Rain checked her watch and gasped.
"I have to head to class, Philip's most likely waiting outside for me to head in. See you later!" Rain smiled
Rain ran towards her next class, Math. She had it with her best friend, Philip, the two had majority of their classes together. They were pretty close, everyone mistook them as a couple. Philip had blue eyes and was brunette.
Rain loved to make fun of his messy handwriting. The two made eye contact and shared a smile, Rain hung her backpack up and the two walked inside.
"So, how was Spanish?" Rain asked
"It went well, I could use some help from you though" Philip chuckled
The two laughed as they took a seat, their notebooks in hand along with their pencils on the other. As class began, they took notes and left doodles on each other's papers. Class ended, Rain couldn't get the boy out of her mind.
She began to walk out the classroom with Philip, that was when she spotted him. He had fluffy brown hair and ocean blue eyes, and freckles that complimented his face.
"Hey Philip?" Rain spoke
"What's up?" Philip asked
"Who's he?" Rain pointed
The boy followed her gaze, the two looked at the boy
"That's Wyatt" Philip replied
"Wyatt" Rain repeated
Philip let out a gasp which startled Rain.
"Do you like someone?" Philip teased
Rain turned into a flustered mess, she fidgeted with her backpack straps.
"I, uh, I have to get going to my next class" Rain stammered
Philip knew lunch was their next period which meant Rain was lying but he laughed at the girl's shyness. The two hugged then left their own ways. Rain was walking to her lunch table when she spotted Wyatt at the vending machine.
