The next day came along, the team had won their game. Rain got her things ready, she got dressed. She decided to wear a cream sweater with jeans and her favorite shoes.

She grabbed her things and headed to school, the other schoolmates waved at her and thanked her for making the team win. Rain smiled at them all, her first class of the day was French.

She sat down and placed her textbooks on her desk then spotted her new book. She took it out from her backpack and decided to read the introduction.

Dedicated to: My Aurora

Rain smiled at the person who wrote it, she loved when books were dedicated to someone special.

'You don't exactly know if love is meant for everyone. Not everyone can have a soulmate and not everyone even believes in love. This girl, she's different. As you navigate through the pages, you'll learn more about this girl and finally know who she is. A girl with big dreams is always heart captivating, just like she did with mine.'

Rain was curious and always wished to meet the author's to the books she read. Which is why she wanted to become a journalist, she loved the idea of interviewing her favorite author's and asking them what their inspiration was.

"Ms. Harper" A voice called

'Chapter One: Autumn
Fall had arrived, Aurora loved the fall. The way the leaves crunched, the delicate cold wind, everything. Aurora takes in every small detail about the world, the smallest injured ant would most likely end up in her care. If you met her, she would be interesting and always have something to discuss about'

"Ms. Harper!" A voice called once more

Rain snapped out of her thoughts, her teacher had been calling her.

"Class has begun, please but your book away. Literature is great but please, save it for your English class" Her teacher spoke

"I'm sorry, Miss. It won't happen again" Rain apologized

"Please open your textbook to page thirty" The teacher added

Rain nodded, everyone had stared at her in awe but then  continued with their class. Class ended, Rain packed up and continued to read the book on her way to her next class.

'Aurora had soft, shiny, black hair with mesmerizing chocolate eyes. Even from a mile away, you could recognize her memorable laugh. She's the girl everyone dreams to have, even I do. I wish she was my Aurora. Even if I don't talk to her, she knows how to make my day. Just by seeing her walk by makes my heart flutter. You've had a interest like that, haven't you?'

Rain thought to herself, who has made her feel that certain way? Nobody she met has. She was about to continue reading when she felt someone take her book.

"What's today book?" Philip asked

"Philip, give it back" Rain chuckled

The boy opened the page.

"A girl like Aurora is certainly one you need. A boy like Harvey is the one in need of an Aurora" Philip read

Rain got a hold of the book and closed it.

"Is it new? Do tell me more about it" Philip smiled
