Saturday came around, Rain was now getting ready to meet Philip at the cafe. She decided to walk there, clenching her bag. Philip was outside, he waved at her and she waved back.

"Nice to see you again, Rai" He smiled

"We just saw each other yesterday, and messaged last night" Rain laughed

"It's always fun to hangout with friends on weekends" Philip mentioned

The two walked in the cafe, it was busy but comforting. The two were in line to place their orders.

"I'm assuming you brought a book with you" Philip spoke

"Nope! I figured that I shouldn't read for a day since we're hanging out"  Rain shrugged

"Is that really the reason?" Philip asked

"Well, i was thinking about what you said and I already wanted to break out of my routine so a little change wouldn't hurt" Rain smiled

Philip smiled and nodded. Soon enough it was their turn to order

"Hi! How can I help you two?" The barista asked

"I'll get a caramel latte, please" Rain smiled

"And I'll have a cappuccino please" Philip added

"Perfect, that'll be twelve dollars" The barista counted

Rain was about to pay but Philip stopped her and paid.

"That'll be out for you soon" The barista smiled

The two walked to an empty table

"You didn't have to pay" Rain spoke

"Well, i invited you so I pay" He shrugged

The two were now sipping their coffees, they talked and laughed.

"Listen Rain i was wondering.. what if we hung out more often?" Philip offered

"That'd be really fun" Rain smiled

The two left the coffee shop and made their way to the nearby mall. Rain became hyper and so did Philip, the two running down the halls of the building.

After a couple hours went by, the two parted ways. Rain headed towards the bookstore she got the book from. She made her way towards the second floor and found a seat on the table.

'Harvey walked around the corner, bumping into someone. He immediately apologized and looked at her panicked eyes. The two introduced herself, she didn't know who he was but he knew exactly who she was. She was the reason he even went to school in the first place.'

Rain was brought out of her thoughts when she noticed a figure in front of her. She looked up from her book at met eyes with a familiar someone.

"Wyatt" Rain spoke

"Mind if I sit here?" He asked

"No, not at all. Take a seat" Rain smiled

The boy sat down, before Rain could read again, Wyatt spoke.

"Rain, we never formally met" Wyatt mentioned

"Yes we have, we're in the same English class" Rain replied

Wyatt shock his head

"My name's Wyatt Lawrence, what's yours?" He smiled

Rain let out soft giggles
