Throughout the entire class, Rain couldn't get her mind off of Wyatt. She also didn't stop thinking about what Philip said, either.

Before she knew it, the day had ended. She was supposed to meet the girls at the school gym, she made her way towards it.

"Rain!" They exclaimed

Rain smiled at them, Leilah took her to the locker room.

"Here are some spare uniforms that we think are your size, take whichever one fits best and there's also shorts to try on. You can wear them now if you want too, also the practice shirts are there too" Leilah spoke

Rain nodded, she put her stuff down and began to try on the shirts, she stayed in the practice shirt and shorts. She tied her hair back and headed out to the gym.

Surprisingly there were other people watching them practice, the coach came up to Rain and began to train her to be the libero. Rain knew it was a big thing but within tries she was getting the hand of it.

She got up and was about to hit the ball back when she noticed a familiar figure walk in. It was Wyatt, but Rain didn't let him distract her, she had to focus on volleyball.

Luckily, Rain had already played a bit in middle school but was a bit rusty. Rain was able to win for the scrimmage and the girls and coach knew she would be a great fill in.

The big game was Friday, which gave Rain two days to prepare. After practice was over, Rain went to grab her things and change. She changed quickly and walked out towards the school's gate.

She noticed someone was there, as if they were waiting.

"Rain" They spoke

Rain turned to face them, it was Wyatt.

"Oh hey" Rain smiled

"I thought you didn't play, people said you were just the manager" Wyatt said

"I needed to fill in for a teammate that got injured" Rain explained

"That's nice of you, what are you doing after this?" Wyatt asked

"Going to change and finish my homework" Rain replied

Wyatt's smile faded a bit but immediately returned.

"Sounds good! Well, see you around" He waved

He began to walk off. Rain knew she wouldn't live up to his expectations. He was well known and she wasn't, he had a girlfriend too.

Rain headed home and spent the rest of the day studying until she got a text.

Philip :)

So, how was practice?
