Chpt 1: Dinner Babeh

Coco POV

"Mommy!" Camry yelled from her room. I washed off my hands and sped walk to the back. "What happened baby?" I asked her walking in the room. She smiled at me and gave me back the phone. "I ask daddy if he come over for dinner." She said smiling.

"And what did he say?" I asked her. She jumped up and down and said "Yes!" I smiled at my hyper four year old. She always lit up when she talked about her daddy. At times she definitely looked like him.

I walked out the room and started to talk on the phone. "So what time are you coming over?" I asked nonchalant into the phone. He did that sexy chuckle he always did and said "I get out the studio at seven so I should make it over there at eight."

"Mhm ok and do me a favor can you bring me some of those little sippy apple juices that Camry likes." I asked him. "Yea no problem babeh I got yuh." He said in that NOLA accent of his. Just his voice alone gave me chills. "Mhm alright and you better stop with the babeh before your twig snaps." I said referring to his girlfriend Brandy. He chuckled and said "Don't worry about her, tonight is all about me and my family." We continued to talk on the phone until his break was up and he had to get back to recording. I didn't have any animosity towards August because what he did was all in the past. I was still in love with him, but I wouldn't let that show because then I'd be setting myself up for disappointment just to find out he doesn't love me back.

I placed the food in the oven and went to the back to go clean Camry up. I gave her a bath and put her in her Princess and the frog gown. I braided her thick long hair into two cornrows as she played with her dolls. She put on her princess and the frog slippers and walked with me to the kitchen and I placed her in her blue and white cushioned booster seat. I continued cooking as she watched me and giggled from time to time. I took out the salmon with zucchini and squash from the oven, along with the grilled chicken. I started to cook the mash potatoes and turned off the zucchini, squash, and broccoli from the stove that was in the pan. Just as I was finishing the mashed potatoes the doorbell rung. "Daddy's here!" Camry yelled as she jumped down from her booster seat and ran to the door. I followed behind her and she giggled as she asked who is it. I could hear August chuckle from the other side and say "It's yo daddy girl"

She jumped up and down and pulled on my arm. "Mommy open the door, open the door!" She semi yelled. I laughed and said "I don't know should I?"

"Yessss!" She squeeled. "Girl if yuh don't open this door, imma give you something to open it for." August said on the other side. I folded my arms and said "What chu gone give me Aug?"

"This long d-" before he could finish I opened the door and gave him the death glare, but then softened it when I seen he brought flowers. He walked in past me with the juices I told him to get, plus some wine. He placed them on the table and gave me the bouquet of flowers, plus a mini one for Camry.

"Thank you daddy." She said as he picked her up and she placed a kiss on his cheek. He put her down and she ran to her room to put the flowers in her mini vase. I looked at August and smiled.

"Thank you Aug." I said giving him a hug. He wrapped his arms around my waist and said "Call me daddy." He smirked and I hit him on his shoulder.

"Do it girl" he persisted on. I sighed and mumbled it underneath my breath. "Wass that? I can't hear ya?" He said leaning in.

"I said thank you Daddy." He smirked and lifted my chin up with one finger. "Now give daddy a kiss." He said in that southern accent. I couldn't help, but lean in and kiss his soft pink lips that I've missed so much. He deepened the kiss by asking my mouth for entrance for his tongue. I placed the flowers on the table behind him as I draped my arms around his neck and his hands massaged my booty.
