Chapter 3

Adam was currently standing in the training grounds of Kamar-Taj for martial art combat. Mordo and Kaecilius are the ones overseeing the training this time. He was standing in the training grounds along with the other students while the two Master's were giving telling them about their training.

"It has been 5 months since you all have been training in the Mystic arts and it is now time for you to train in the martial forms as well." Mordo said to the students.

"You must be able to control your power while fighting. Complete control and merging of the body and your mystic arts is needed for one who is a practitioner of the Master of the Mystic Arts." Kaecilius said to them.

'Well, I have been training my body in the spare time I take from studying so it might help a bit.' Adam thought to himself.

After that Mordo and Kaecilius started to fight with the students one by one. Obviously as Master's they totally destroyed the ones fighting against them. Adam was looking at the two fight with wide eyes and was taking in their fighting styles.

Mordo was without a doubt a master of the staff as he was able to expertly use it to deflect the attacks of the students. Kaecilius on the other hand was using two wooden batons to fend of the students. He acted more like he was using twin swords more than anything which actually fit his fighting style from the movie.

In time it was Adam's turn as he was in front of Mordo as the Master and student looked at eachother. Adam could feel a drop of sweat go down his forehead as he had a nervous look on his face.

"I hope you're ready Adam." Mordo said as he readied his staff.

Adam just nodded to him as he stood in his place. Kaecilius was looking at him as he was interested at the boy.

"No time like the present." Adam said as he brought forth Eldritch energy.

Mordo seeing this immediately went for the strike. Adam saw his attack and immediately raised his arms over his head to protect himself while energy was covering them. The staff hit his arm but it rebounded back as it took Mordo by surprise as he stumbled back. Kaecilius also widened his eyes slightly in surprise when he saw that.

Adam means felt the attack but his hand was unharmed. He smiled when he saw the energy covered hands of his. At that time the Ancient One was also watching the fight with interested eye's. Adam concentrated on the energy as he slowly brought his hands down. The energy started to take form around his arms until they took a solid form.

What appeared surprised the other occupants of the room except for the Ancient One who was amused and more interested in him. On both of his arms from the elbow up were gauntlets made out of Eldritch energies which were in solid form.

"Well, all that training paid off. I thought they wouldn't be able to handle the attack. This will do fine." Adam said to himself as he got ready with his hands.

Mordo looked at his gauntlets with interest before readying himself. Then he started to attack Adam while he was focusing on defence. He used the gauntlets to block the strikes, he would also jump from swipes from time to time from Mordo's staff and legs.

His gauntlets started to get cracks around it but he didn't have time to think about it as Mordo was attacking nonstop. Then in a surprising move he caught the staff with both of his hands surprising Mordo.

But Adam surprised the Master again as he made chains using Eldritch energy in the air which wrapped around Mordo. The chains flew around Mordo as the tips then lodged itself into the ground after wrapping around him as Mordo looked at the shocked.
