Reader POV
The panic flowed through me as we all rushed towards the performance venue. We had a real late start to the day, as I was preparing with a very special someone to help in my performance. I had already spoken with Pierre and Aria about if it was ok for my do to what I had planned, they agreed, thankfully! Whilst the group was performing, we also had to finish costumes, I had my team, Bonnie and Dedenne helping me finish my costume to my vision.
"Thank Arceus we're not late!" Tierno huffed as we walked into the venue.
"I'm quite nervous for today." Clemont whispered in my ear.
"Trust me, I'll be with you ever step of the way. No matter what happens, and if it flops, who cares." I chuckled, standing in front of him.
"We need to go you guys!" Serena shouted, ushering us into the dressing rooms.
"Good luck Clemont!" Bonnie chuckled.
"I'll need it..." Clemont remarked, tailing behind me.
It was the princesses cup first, it went really well, it also gave me and Clemont time to practice our amazing routine. Yes, I decided to have Clemont help me in my routine, he knew the music to lip sync to and everything, it was just trying to boost his confidence and perform at 100%. As Serena won, it pushed me more to win for myself.
"Clemont, please stop stressing, you're not even on yet." I told him as I tried to powder his face, but his shaking and sweating made it incredibly difficult to do.
"I'm sorry Y/n, I'm just worried I'll mess it up for you." Clemont gripped his trouser leg.
"Y/n, Tierno and Joaquin! You're on shortly, please get into positions in that order." The producer shouted.
"Joaquin's here!?" I was taken back.
"You bet Y/n, and I'm going to win this key once and for all!" He remarked.
"I'll see you in a bit Clem." I giggled walking to the stage door.
As we were lined up for the first themed challenge of the showcase, I heard Aria say to the audience:
"Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to the third round of the ever amazing Snatch game! We would now like to welcome to the stage. Siebold the Kalosian Elite four member. The Iconic Nurse Joy and Finally, the Anistar City Gym leader herself, Olympia!" Aria pointed towards the stage. One by one the three of us were lifted on platforms. Tierno dressed as Nurse Joy, Joaquin dressed as Siebold and me, dressed as my idol, of whom I've studied for years, Olympia.
"Well, hello Olympia, how are we feeling today." Aria pointed the microphone towards me.
"Shit!" I replied, in the exact replication of Olympia's voice, there was a burst of laughter from the crowd even Aria and Pierre chuckled.
"How so?" The host asked me.
"Even the stars couldn't predict me being booked on this sort of Torchic-shit gig." The crowd burst into laughter and I knew already that I would be marked high in this challenge.
"Haha! Well...lets get going with round 3 of the Snatch game!" Aria chuckled.
My first question for this round was difficult to make funny, but somehow I managed to pull it out.
