"Minnie, what are you doing?"

Jimin looked up at his mother with a big grin on his face. "Mama, look my Alpha." The little six-year-old pointed towards a small four-year-old boy playing in the sand.

"Oh, Baby, how do you even know he's an Alpha?" The mother was skeptical; no one knew for sure what rank they would be until they present.

The little boy just shrugged his shoulders as his little face scrunched up. "Mama, can I go play with my Alpha?" He asked so sweetly before he got up and ran towards the little boy, his Mother chasing behind him and yelling at him to wait for her. He plopped down right in front of the boy, causing him to jerk and blink at the newcomer with his large, doe-like eyes. "Hi, I'm Minnie and you are my Alpha."

The little boy's father chuckled at the sweet little boy in front of his son, "Oh, he is, is he? And how do you know that my little Kookie is going to be an Alpha? He's so cute; he might be an Omega."

Jimin shook his head no so quickly: "No, he's my Alpha, and I'm his Omega."

The two parents looked at each other, their faces full of wonder at the confidence that Jimin said it in. "Do you think they are?"

"Soulmates? I think so," his mother whispered.

"But they are so young," the father replied, "I thought you had to be presented before you could find your soulmate?"

"So did I," she chuckled. "Minnie, we need to go home." Before she could even get out, his father was at home waiting for them to eat. Jimin launched himself towards Kookie, wrapping his arms around him and crying out that he couldn't leave.

When Jimin's mother reached down to try and physically remove the crying boy, Jungkook wrapped his arms around the boy and growled at the woman, "no," he said, his eyes flashing red for just a second.

"Did you see that?" She gasped.

"I did; I guess your son was right; Kookie is going to be an Alpha."

Kook was nuzzling his nose into Jimin's hair, doing his best to calm him down, and it worked. Jimin started to purr, something that never happened before the presentation. Then they heard Kookie's rumbles. "Oh my God, I. I can't believe this. What do we do?"

His father looked at her and said, "I'm not sure. If we try to separate them, it could be bad. But we have to get home; I need to start dinner."

"Is your mate waiting on you?"

He shook his head, "No, it's just me. We never mated. We spent my heat together, and the protection didn't work. Nine months later, I was blessed with my little Kookie."

She perked up a bit, "Come eat with us; my mate would love to meet you two." It took some convincing that they really wouldn't be imposing, but soon, they were loading the boys into their cars. It took bribing the boys just to get them to separate, but they finally did.

Dinner was adorable; Jimin insisted that he should help Jungkook eat since he was older. But he couldn't quite manage to cut up his food, so he shyly asked his mother for help. Then he made airplane noises with each bite he flew towards the younger. "I'm not a baby," Jungkook insisted with a pout but still opened his mouth every single time Jimin brought the fork to his lips.

"I know, but you are my Alpha, and when we are bigger, you'll take care of me just like this. So, for now, let me take care of you."

The parents soon discovered that their boys were enrolled at the same school. It was Kookie's first time going to a big boy school, and he was so nervous. But when he walked outside, there Jimin was with a big bundle of flowers and a balloon. His nerves were gone. If Minnie was there, he could handle anything. He had to become the big, strong Alpha that his Omega needed.

It became their routine. Every day, they went to school together. When school was out, Jimin's mom picked them up, and Kookie stayed there until his Dad got off work. On the weekends, they alternated houses for sleepovers. The two were inseparable, and anyone who tried was met with a growling Jungkook, his eyes flashing bright red.

"Minnie, what's going to happen to us when you present?" Kookie lay next to his love on the older's bed. Jimin would turn 15 here soon and present, which scared Jungkook. They had learned about ruts and heats in school, and he knew they weren't ready for that.

Jimin rolled over, his hand reaching out to brush the younger man's hair off his forehead. "What do you mean, what will happen to us? Kook, we are forever; we are soulmates. One day, I'll bear your mark and have your pups."

Kook sighed a bit as he snuggled closer to Jimin, "but I, I'm not ready for you know."

The soon-to-be-presented Omega giggled, rolling his body back and forth on the bed. "Neither am I Kookie, we have forever, we don't have to rush."

"Is there any way I can help, though?"

Jimin hummed, scooting closer to his intended, "Well, there is one big thing you could do." Kook perked up a bit, curiosity all over his face, "I'll have to learn how to make a nest, and I want your scent in it. I know it's not what you'll smell like later, but it still smells like you, like cotton."

Jungkook grinned, almost smug about it. "I can do that," he sat up, whipping his hoodie off. "This should be covered in my scent, but I can bring more by if you want."

Jimin snatched it and shoved his face in it before he quickly pulled it on. His nose pushed back into the collar as he rolled around and purred. Jungkook reached out, petting Jimin's hair softly. He's so cute, he mused to himself. "Thank you, Kookie," Jimin mumbled, his mouth still inside the hoodie.

"Anything for you, my love."

Jimin's heat hit not a month later, just a few days after he turned 15. He was surprised when his father told him to go to Jimin. Why would he do that? Jimin was in heat. But he went nonetheless; he'd do anything that Jimin wanted. He could smell the heat scent as soon as the front door opened. His eyes flashed red, causing Jimin's Alpha father to growl. "He wants you, but I want you to know that if you do ANYTHING to him, you have me to answer to. I'm not sure if he'll ask you to help relieve him, but you must understand that unless it was discussed beforehand, it's considered assault."

"I understand, Sir; I would never do anything to hurt Minnie." Jimin's Dad nodded, and Jungkook made his way up the stairs closer to the scent that was making his wolf go insane. He knocked on the door and heard his Omega cry out for him before he could even get a word out. He was in there in an instant, "I'm here, Minnie, I'm here."

"It hurts, Kookie," he cried as he pulled the younger onto the bed and shoved his face in his neck. "Hold me," he whimpered.

So that's what Jungkook did: He held him, scented him, and made sure that he got food and water. Not once did Jimin even ask for relief; just having his Alpha there was enough to make him feel better. And a week later, it was over. Jungkook tried his best not to shove his face in Jimin's neck every chance he got, but he was failing miserably.

But Jungkook had never been happier until a month after Jimin presented, their village was attacked, and Jimin was stolen, and his parents were slaughtered in their home.
