Jimin was still floating, he heard everything everyone was saying. But it was like he had cotton in his ears and he couldn't process or understand anything. He heard Jungkook murmuring in his ear, telling him that everything will be okay. That he'll make sure that they get out of this, together. But he couldn't answer him back.

"Thank you for letting me exam him."

Jungkook glared at the Doctor, "are you the one that made the forced heat drinks?"

The Beta shook his head, "no, that was the Alpha Doctor. He was killed the same night as the King. He was a horrible man, much like the last King."

The Alpha snorted, unamused. "It's not like the new King is much better. He threatened war if we didn't give Jimin back, a domestic abuse victim."

"I understand that. But I promise the new King is much better. He didn't even want Ji-ah, or sorry Jimin. It was the Queen Mother, since they didn't have an heir she's been harping on the King to get mated and have pups. Jimin was the perfect Omega in their eyes."

Jungkook didn't say a word, afraid that he was going to lash out and kill the Beta. He was worried about Jimin who hasn't said a word since he woke up this morning. He's acting a lot like how he did when they first found him. He's not reacting to his name at all, but he flinches every time someone calls him Ji-ah.

He watched the Doctor take blood and run some tests on the computer, the entire time Jungkook just held his hand and made sure that his scent was calming. 

The Doctor spun around. "Well I have proof that he is actually a he. But that doesn't even matter." The Doctor smiled. "He's pregnant, congrats you two."

"What?"

The Doctor looked at the Alpha confused, "oh, uh well I assumed that the pups were yours. I didn't see how far along he was since I didn't do an ultrasound, it might be the late Kings and if that's the case then this is bad."

Jungkook shook his head. "No, it's not his, the pups are mine. It's just we spent our cycles together but we didn't think it took. His scent hasn't really changed."

The Beta doctor snorted loudly, but he tried to cover it up. "Sorry... It's just you probably wouldn't have noticed any scent change, considering how much he smells like you. He's drowning in your scent."

The Alpha reached out and palmed Jimin's stomach before leaning down and kissing right above his belly button. "My pup. Love we are having pups." He looked up and Jimin had tears rolling down his eyes but he still wasn't saying anything. "I love you Jimin, my beautiful perfect mate."

"I'll leave you two alone. I'll inform the King that a mated soulmate match has pups on the way. There's no country in the world that would or could break you two up." And then he was gone.

He leaned down kissing the tears away. "You are safe, baby. And in a few months, we'll have some pups to love on."

"Alpha," Jimin whispered so softly.

Jungkook's heart was breaking, his Omega sounded so broken. "I'm here love, forever." They took their time, he wanted to make sure that Jimin was himself before they left the safety of the tent.

"I'm safe?"

"You are safe. I promised you that you would be, and I'll never break a promise to you. I did once, but never again."

When they walked back outside Hobi and Geoff were shaking hands, they both turned to look at the mated pair. The King of the North bowed. "I'm sorry for what my brother did to you. I'll inform my family of what he did and your situation. Please send verification on how far along he is so they can't try and say it was my infertile brother's pup. I'll keep my family from going to war with your country." He turned back to Hobi. "I'd like to come to terms on a peace treaty. Both of our countries have suffered enough under the reign of my brother."

Hobi smiled, "I'd like that too. I lost my parents because of him and too many of my citizens. But in order to do what you want, I want all of the stolen Omegas to be returned to their families."

Geoff nodded his head. "It shall be done, if possible. The only thing I worry about is if they were mated and pupped. The law isn't on my side there."

They knew that but it didn't make it any easier to hear. The only way that they could free them is if their mate died, short of them going on a murder spree, a lot of Omegas wouldn't be able to come home. 

By the time that they got home, Jimin was still barely talking and Jungkook was starting to freak out. All the Omega would do was lay down in their nest and hold his belly.

"I wish you'd come back to me, love. But I'm here regardless, no matter how long it takes."

Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months. "I'm worried Kook, he's not gaining the weight he needs to sustain a healthy pregnancy."

The Alpha looked at their Doctor, "I don't know what to do. The only thing I can even get him to say is Alpha but even that is few and far between. He'll eat if I force him to, but when I look into his eyes, it's like he's not here with me. It's the same look he had on his face when I found him and the King was raping him. I knew taking him there was a bad idea."

"But you prevented a war,  and you've managed to bring hundreds of Omegas home. Jimin knew this, that's why he wanted to do it."

The Alpha scoffed, "yeah he might have agreed to it, but we didn't know he was pregnant."

Tae walked into their room, "why don't we do what we did last time?"

Jungkook looked like a walking train wreck, there was no other word to describe him. "If I thought it would work, sure. But last time he was here, he might not have talked, but he was at least present."

The Beta sighed, "I want my best friend back."

"I want my soulmate back," the Alpha grumbled.

Jimin didn't make a sound while giving birth, if it wasn't for the fact that his water broke and it woke JK up, the Alpha never would have known Jimin was even in labor. Their daughter was born at 6:30 in the morning, and she was a tiny little thing. Just 6 ounces and 19 inches long. She had silver grey hair just like Jimin and Jungkook never knew just how much his heart could love until that day. "Shit he's bleeding out."

Jungkook was gently pushed to the side so the Doctor could work on Jimin. The Alpha was trying to remain calm, for the sake of their pup. But it wasn't working, he couldn't lose him after finally finding him again. Their daughter cried out for the first time and Jimin's eyes flashed blue. His Omega coming to the surface for the first time in months. "Pup, Alpha, pup."

Before JK could grant his request he passed out. "Is...is he okay?" He yelled at the Doctor.

"He'll be okay, the bleeding stopped. But it was a difficult labor. Let him rest and he should wake up soon."

So JK rocked their pup back and forth in his arms just waiting for his love to wake up. When he felt Jimin's hand on his arm he couldn't stop the tears from falling. "I missed you so much."

"I'm sorry Alpha, I don't know what's wrong with me."

The Alpha leaned down and let Jimin hold their daughter, "you are perfect. Just like her."

"What are we going to name her?"

Jungkook smiled before kissing them both on the forehead, "Arla, after her grandmother."

"I love you and I can't wait to raise Arla with you."
