Yup. Jungkook was full-on snot crying. While his Omega was in heat. Naked, slicked up, and all ready for him. "I'm sorry, just give me a second."

Jimin turned, keeping Jk's hands on his hips still. "I'll give you forever Kookie. You are my soulmate."

The Alpha leaned down and started to sob into his Omega's neck, the only things holding him together were his hands on Jimin and the pheromones that Jimin was pumping out. He could feel Jimin's fingers running through his hair. The elder was doing his best to calm him. But it was just too much. He lost ten years with his soulmate and he gets him back and he's so traumatized that he doesn't even know who he is or how to talk.

The first time he does speak, is when he sees Jungkook get injured. Then a rut and of course a heat follows. While Jimin is miles ahead of where he was when they found him, there are still so many years of trauma to unpack. Yes, they are making progress, and maybe having their cycles happen helped them. But Jk can't help but wonder if everything he's doing is wrong and making recovery harder for his love.

He's not sure how long he cried, but when he came back to himself it was to Jimin singing a song he hadn't heard in years. It was one that Jimin's mom used to sing to Jimin, and then Jk, when he spent the night. It was their going to bed song and it always brought such comfort to the both of them.

"You remember it?"

"Hmm?" The Omega hummed softly, his fingers still running through Jk's hair in the most calming way. "Oh, yeah. It started coming back to me in bit and pieces. It wasn't until I started singing it to you that I remembered it all. My mother sang it to us, right?"

Jungkook nodded his head against where he laid in Jimin's neck. "She did. She was an amazing woman. I miss her every day."

"It's strange, I remember my parents and your dad. But it's like I remember them how I remember the characters from our favorite movies. Like I know them, but they aren't real." He sighed a bit before whispering, "even if I know they are real...were real. "

The Alpha squeezed him a bit tighter. "I'm sorry about them. But I know my dad would love to see you. I still haven't told him that I found you. I wanted to focus on you getting better before he crashed into the castle and stole you away." Kook snorted. "You always were his favorite." He leaned up and kissed Jimin's scent gland making the older purr softly, "But I'm not surprised, it's you."

"I feel a lot better, but are you okay?"

He thought about it. He is okay, but he's also not. It's so hard to put into words what's going on in his head. "I think so. I mean...yes. I'm okay."

Jimin pulled Jk's head back so they could look at each other in the eyes, it was like he was searching for something. "It's okay if you aren't. It's not like I'm the poster child for okayness. We can not be okay together, if you want."

A small chuckle left Jungkook. He knew that they'd be okay. That together they could get through anything as long as they have each other. "I'd like that. Do you think your heat is over? You don't feel as hot. And don't take this the wrong way but you aren't as whiny and clingy as you were."

The Omega groaned. "Seriously? You know I can't control it. Don't be mean."

"I'm not Minnie, I loved it honestly. But if you are not in heat anymore that means we can go back to our room. As fun as this room has been, I'm kinda itching to get some fresh air." He texted everyone to let them know that their cycles were over and they wanted out. Neither of them were surprised that Tae was the first one to come.

"Hi guys, I'm here to let you out." Tae was still standing outside the room, he wouldn't enter unless one of them gave him permission.

Jimin opened his arms with a big smile. "Tae Tae, my soulmate." Causing his Alpha to grumble as the Beta crashed into Jimin and swung him around in a circle.

"Not your soulmate," Jungkook mumbled as he double-checked the room to make sure that they grabbed everything they needed. "Come on Minnie," he said while staring at Tae. Even though he didn't breed his Omega, they both just finished their cycles and Jimin smells a lot like that Alpha. That's enough for him to get territorial but he can't even get mad at Tae because Jimin initiated it.

They made it back to their room, cheeky Beta chattering away behind them. Kook almost closed the door in his face but he couldn't. Tae looked so genuinely happy to have his friend back. They were sitting in the nest talking a mile a minute. There was a knock on the door and Jk let out a low growl before shaking his head.

"I know this is a bad time and you know as an Alpha I'd never pull you away, but you have to see the King. Now. Both of you."

He knew it had to be important, because Jin is an Alpha and he knows what they are like after their cycles if they spent it with another wolf. He turned to look at Tae and Jimin, they both looked scared, which meant that whatever this was, they didn't tell Tae about it. "We'll be there. Just let us shower and get dressed really fast."

Jin told Tae to come with him, he didn't want to but he's never been really great at telling Jin or Joon no. So he ducked his head and followed behind the Alpha. The soulmates showered and got dressed in record time, both of them nervous over what this could be. When they walked into Hobi's office it didn't help their nerves one bit. 

Joon was pacing and Yoongi was pumping out pheromones trying his hardest to calm him down, while Hobi just looked defeated, his head down in his hands with his hair all over the place. Tae was sitting in Jin's lap sobbing his heart out. "What's going on?"

Hobi whipped his head up and it looked like he'd been crying as well. "I'm sorry Jungkook, I've been trying. It happened as soon as your rut started and I made Joon and Jin swear not to say anything while we tried to find a solution."

"I don't understand."

Yoongi scoffed as he walked over to the King and scruffed him, it was unheard of for many reasons. Yoongi was older, but he was an Omega and that was the King. "He also kept Tae and I in the dark about it. Tae I understand, but me, that I will never get or forgive."

The King dropped his head to the side a bit, a sign of submission. "I'm sorry, but you had them to deal with. I didn't want you to have to lie to them, and you and Tae were the ones that were helping the most. I didn't want you to have the same burden I had whenever I went to see them."

The Omega let go. "I get it, but next time don't spare me. I might be an Omega but we've proved I'm just as strong as most Alphas."

"I know and I promise I won't."

Jungkook was getting pissed. "You called me and my soulmate here after our cycles knowing how important this bonding time is, and how aggressive my Alpha could get, and then you don't tell us shit."

The King looked at Jungkook before his eyes slid down a bit to land on Jimin. "Jimin I am so, so sorry about this. I don't know what to do, but...there's a new Alpha King in the North. The old King's little brother, and since you never produced an heir he's demanding his property back, because you belong to the crown."
