Jimin was highly amused by the rambling Beta named Taehyung. It didn't matter that Jimin didn't talk because Tae never allowed him time to speak anyway. But it was pleasant; it made him feel comfortable around him. He couldn't stop smiling as he took bites of cookies and watched Tae hold up red things before him to see if it triggered something. By the time he made it through the items, Tae huffed and said that he was going with plan B. Jimin had no idea what plan B was, but he had a feeling it would be interesting.

"I don't want to go," Tae whined loudly as he turned to look at Jungkook. "Why don't you go do those errands you are always sending Yoongi on, and I'll stay here with my soulmate?"

Jimin gasped, and Jungkook growled, "Excuse me, your soulmate?" He walked closer to the two of them in the nest, his eyes flashing red.

"Not that kind of soulmate, the kind that are friends for life. Calm down, Alpha," Tae giggled, but he was looking at the two actual soulmates as they stared at each other. Kook's eyes were still red, and Jimin couldn't keep his eyes off of the Alpha. His hand reached out, and his fingers brushed along the Alpha's eyebrows, making his eyes flutter closed. "And my work here is done," the Beta mumbled as he crawled out of the nest, "make sure he eats real food, Kook; I'll be back at dinner to see my bestie."

He grabbed Yoongi and dragged him out of the room with him, "that was smart, Taehyung."

The Beta gasped dramatically, his hand flying to his mouth, "You act like I'm not smart; you are so mean, Yoongi."

The Omega smacked him upside the back of his head, "Get over the dramatics, Taehyung. So what's your plan now?"

"Get him to realize that Jungkook is the Kookie, not actual cookies."

"How are you going to do that?"

Tae grinned all smugly, "Don't you worry; you're pretty, little head about it; Taehyungie is on it now. Operation Jikook is in full effect."

Yoongi snorted, "I'm just glad that it seems like the red was Kook and not blood. I was worried we were going to make it worse."

"Yeah, but it could still be that. We never know; what if it was both?"

"I want him to remember his life before because I know they had a happy one. But I'm scared because I don't want him to mourn his family or possibly remember their deaths."

Jimin couldn't take his eyes off Jungkook; he knew his eyes were flashing blue because his Omega wanted to come to the surface so badly. It was him; he knew these eyes; he'd seen them so many times before in his dreams. But how? He said that he wasn't presented when Jimin was taken, so how did Jimin see red eyes? His head was starting to hurt, so Jungkook reached out and wiped a tear away. Jimin wasn't even aware he was crying until then.

"Let's get that food in you. It's gone a bit cold, and you'll have to blame Taehyung for that." Jimin didn't care about the food; he was only eating because Jungkook was feeding him. He needed to sleep and needed to shut down his brain for a bit so he could maybe understand what was going on.

Jungkook could see his little Omega trying to hide his yawns, and it was so fucking adorable, "hey, are you sleepy? Want to cuddle and take a nap? I can read to you, pick up where you left off before Tae crashed into your nest like an overgrown puppy."

Falling asleep while being held by him and listening to his voice, did Jimin die and go to heaven? He nodded his head quickly while scrambling to get under the covers. He looked at him, the Alpha, expectantly. Said Alpha, chuckling as he picked up the book Jimin had been reading before lying beside him. He expected Jimin to scoot closer; he did not expect him to roll over and lay down on half of him.

But he wasn't going to complain; Jimin was comfortable with him. Soon, they might be able to kiss again, which Jungkook absolutely cannot wait for. He read to his Omega until he felt Jimin's little breaths brushing across his scent gland. He closed the book and sat it down before wrapping his arms around Jimin and holding him close. They stayed that way until Taehyung crashed into their room.

"I have arrived," he sang with his arms wide open.

Jungkook groaned, and Jimin giggled as he sat up. His grey hair was all over the place as his little fist rubbed one of his eyes. The Alpha and the Beta started to coo over how adorable it was. "Where's the food?"

Tae turned his attention from Jimin to Jungkook, "the food?"

"You said that you'd bring dinner," Jungkook deadpanned.

"No, I said I'd be back at dinner. If you want food, go get it. Stop making Yoongi do all the work."

The Alpha's mouth dropped open in shock; he started sputtering, and his mouth moved like a fish out of water. It was hilarious. "I don't leave because Jimin gets upset and whines every time I try. That's why Yoongi has been bringing it."

Tae turned his big eyes towards Omega. "Hey Jiminie?" Omega looked at him with curiosity. "Is it okay if your Alpha goes to get food for us and I stay here with you?"

"Yah, who said anything about me getting food for you? You aren't my Beta, why would I bring you food when you could have eaten before you came, or I don't know brought the food with you."

The Beta just ignored the Alpha's rant, "What do you say, Jiminie? Can he leave for tenish minutes while we hang out?"

Was that okay? Jimin felt safe with Tae, for some odd reason. He felt like they were connected in some way. So he nodded, making the Beta cheer as he hopped into the nest right beside the Alpha. Said Alpha, groaned, and walked toward the door. He turned around at the last second, "I'll be right back. If he does anything you don't like, you have permission to kick him out. If he doesn't listen, let me know, and I'll throw him out the window when I return."

Jimin giggled while Taehyung threw himself onto the bed and whined through a mini-tantrum. With that, the Alpha left, and once the door was shut, Tae stopped his fit immediately and turned to look at Jimin. "Jiminie, do you want to know a secret?"

The Omega nodded as he leaned forward to get closer to Tae. "It's not cookies you remember; it's something else." What is he talking about? Jimin dreamed about cookies all the time. "I'll prove it to you after dinner if you want?" That's what Jimin wanted, right? To remember, so he nodded his head yes, making Taehyung extremely happy.

They lay in the nest, waiting for Jungkook to return with the food. Comfortable in each other's presence, when the Alpha returned, Tae couldn't keep the smile off his face while watching the Alpha. He was annoyed with everyone and so patient with his Omega. Yes, Jungkook tolerates all of them, but you can always tell he'd rather be anywhere than where he is. But right now, seeing him with Jimin, anyone would be able to know that there was nowhere he'd rather be than with him.

Once they finished eating, Jimin patiently looked at Taehyung, so the Beta winked and turned to Jungkook. "Kookie," he whined loudly.

"Yah, I told you not to call me that. That's not a nickname you can use for me, we've talked about this Taehyung."

Cookie, Kookie, Jungkook, how could he be so dumb? Jimin's head filled with thoughts and feelings of being warm, loved, safe, and oh-so happy Kookie. What is this he's feeling?

"I'll go now, talk to him," Tae whispered before he left the room.
