3rd POV
The scene reveals Y/n making breakfast, Raiden was sitting in the dining table sipping his coffee and minding his own business. As Y/n flipped hashbrowns he asked his dad.
"So... Dad, you thinking of Miss Gloria or Aunty Mistral?" He asked with a grin. Raiden spat out his coffee and answered.
"What!? Of course not!" He slammed his palms to the table.
"Well, mom did say you could marry someone else or two." He poked fun at his dad.
"David as a brother would be sick! We could watch a braindance of that time when you got a kiss from both-" He continued.
"Shut the hell up!" Raiden noogied his son.
"I was joking!!!" Y/n cried out.
"Let's just eat, you ungrateful brat." Raiden said.
After breakfast Y/n wore his uniform and started his commute. He walked to the station, there he saw David looking around for something.
"Yo, choom!"
"Huh?!... Y/n!" David fist bumped Y/n.
"What are you looking for?"
"I'm looking for this hot chick I saw, I guess she left or something."
Y/n slammed his fist on David's head.
"Sigh... Always thinking with your dick instead of your head. You poor soul. Let's just go to the academy."
Both of them went on the train to Arasaka Academy. As they entered the classroom, snickers started to arise.
"It seems like there are no absent students." The AI teacher said.
"David Martinez, you are breaking uniform policy.
"Yeah-yeah, my uniform is still in the cleaners."
"Then please write an excuse letter and send it to the office."
"We will start with the meditation room, everyone please wear your brain dance wreath."
All of them were transported to a peaceful field when suddenly, David's avatar glitches and broke everyone's wreaths.
BANG!
The scene fades to the principal's office. Gloria and David are currently sitting on chairs, while Y/n is calling someone.
Y/n
Hey, Dad I need to cash in a favor.
Raiden
What is it this time?
Y/n
David is in some deep shit and miss Gloria is having a hard time here.
Raiden
...I'll be right there.
Call End
"But David needs education like any other student would, here in Arasaka."
"It's not a matter of money, miss Martinez. If your son is from a family with good income then he could have gotten that upgrade." The principal explained.
"I-I understand..."
Gloria grabbed David's hand and walked away, Y/n followed suit. As they were about to exit the academy, a one-eyed man appeared.
"Gloria, Y/n told me everything. Are you alright?"
"Yeah, nothing I could fix." She said flexing her arm for a bit.
"Ill help with the expenses."
"You don't have to! David's mess is my responsibility." She rejected his offer.
"Are you sure?"
"Mhm" She nodded
The Martinez family entered their car and drove off to the distance, while the Sears walked to their nearby house.
Raiden sat on the living room couch and turned on the news channel, while Y/n braindanced a "fun time". After a few minutes Raiden slammed the door open.
"What the hell dad?! I was in a middle of something." Y/n scratched his head.
"The Martinez's got in an accident." Raiden stated.
The Sears scion stared at him for a second, before throwing his braindanced wreath to the wall and ran outside. Y/n called David just in case.
Y/n
David, are you guys okay?
David
I'm fine, but mom...
Y/n
Don't worry choom, I got your back.
David
Thanks...
Y/n
Where are you guys at?
David
I'll send the coordinates to your hub.
Y/n
The highway?! Fuck! I'll be right there.
Call End
"Dad they're at the highway, hurry up!" Y/n shouted at his dad.
Raiden sat down in the driver's seat and floored it. When they arrived they were met with scene of the Martinez's car burning.
Raiden activated the Beserk effect and ripped the car door open he threw David towards Y/n, while he carried Gloria. Both of them laid in the backseat of the car, as they drove to the Night City hospital.
Raiden was handed a tabled and was told to fill out the information. He typed in Gloria's info and chose the premium package.
"She should be fine in a few weeks. Do you need some help?" Raiden asked David.
"Thanks... Mr. Raiden, but I can take care of myself"
"Fine, at least keep your mom's stuff." Raiden handed him a clear plastic bag filled with Gloria's clothing, etc.
David grabbed the package and ran out of the hospital. Y/n facepalmed, while Raiden crossed his arms.
"Sigh... Not Nova" Y/n sighed out.
