3rd POV
Thump!
"Faster!" Raiden gruffly said.
Thump!-Thump!-Crack!
The wooden sword broke as it hit the training dummy. Y/n threw it away as he grabbed another one from the weapon rack.
"Why are you training me again?" Y/n asked.
"As the son of an Edgerunner, you need to be able to fight others. I made many enemies throughout my life, I don't want them to hurt, cripple, and kill you." Raiden said with a serious tone.
"Why won't you let me chrome up? I thought it was essential for Edgerunners, like you."
"Having Cyberware comes at a cost, Y/n. Each time you get one you lose a part of yourself." Raiden points at himself.
"That's why it's important for you-" The father pointed at his son.
"-to keep your sanity." He continued.
"Continue."
Y/n continued to go through the various moves that his father taught him. Each strike caused the dummy to wobble, but nonetheless stay in place.
"If you manage to move that, I'll let you chrome up."
"Really? That's Nova!" Y/n pumped his fist to the air.
"On the condition that you use the Cyberware I give you." Raiden pointed out.
"Not Nova..." Y/n had a dejected look on his face.
"Sigh... Cyberware is still Cyberware" Y/n focused his gaze and continued swinging at the dummy.

.Crack!
The dummy fell to the ground, as Y/n slashed it with all his might.
"Yes! Hahaha..." Y/n fell to the floor feeling the fatigue.
"Good job, Y/n." Raiden smiled.
"Like I said I'll give you the Cyberware, but it's a little special." He raised a large case, he threw it to Y/n.
"Guh!" Y/n caught it in the nick of time.
"What was that for, pops!?"
"Open it."
"Grr, fine.." Y/n opened the case, revealing a pair of Kiroshi Optics Mk.3, The Scalpel, and a Sandevistan of unknown branding.
"The fuck? Where did you get this, pops?" Y/n held out the Sandevistan.
"It's something your mother made, she called it the Warp Falcon." Raiden explained.
"Pfftt-hahaha! Damn, mom was cringe." Y/n laughed at the obvious name.
"Yeah-yeah, laugh it up. Your mom had an eccentric naming sense."
"Still, it's nice to have a reminder of mom" Y/n's laughter died down as he looked at the Sandevistan. He placed the back of his hand to his forehead.
"Yeah.." Raiden agreed.
"I'll call your aunt Dorio if she knows any top-notch ripperdocs." He continued.
"Aunt Dorio? When will she visit?!" Y/n said with excitement.
"She's not visiting we'll meet up in Watson, Northside." After Raiden said that, he continued talking to Dorio.

.The white haired men entered the clinic of Doc Ryder. Both of them were looking around, when suddenly somebody hugged them from behind.
"Whats up, big bro? You too little man." A burly woman greeted.
"Aunt Dorio!"
"Hello, sis.""I hear my nephew is about to chrome up." She smirked.
"Yeah, of course! Once I get them I'll be able to join dad on some of his missions!" He exclaimed.
"Well, meet Doc Ryder. The best ripperdoc in the city." She pointed to a large man wearing sunglasses and headphones.
"Hm? Wassup chooms. You ready, little man?"
"Yeah!"
"Well, lay down over there and we'll start." He pointed to a table.
Raiden handed Doc the case, he opened it and whistled.
"Looks like you'll start with a good kit. Lucky you."

."Seems like you don't need any meds for the Cyberware. Well, looking at your dad over there it seems like you lot have a high resistance."
Y/n wobbled at first, then slowly walked to his family.
"How is it?" Dorio asked.
"Nova." Y/n replied
