"Hyung!! I need to talk to you about something", the younger said to the older and went to a silent alley.
AUTHORS POV:-
"What happened kook? What is it you wanted to talk about?", Namjoon asked.
"Hyung!! I know we are here to have fun but I wanted to talk about a case I am dealing with right now, according to the rules I should not reveal any case details to a commoner but I want us to work professionally since you are in the police force and I am a spy", he said sternly.
"So, what is it wanted to know about?", Namjoon asked.
"I was assigned a case recently. 3 victims were found their bodies were burned but not very intensely. One of the spies who I work with happened to be there at that time so he tipped the cops. So, when the police arrived the ones who were burning the body escaped from there. We found out that the victims were tortured until they were dead because there are cuts on their bodies. We were not about to examine the cuts because the bodies are half burned", Jungkook said in an emotionless tone.
"Do you want me to investigate it?", the older asked the younger.
"The problem is it looks like they have a backup from the department so I want you to investigate it secretly, find some evidence or any cases which are similar to it. The case was rushed so we didn't get the time to find evidence. If you can get me any familiar cases it would be a bonus", the younger said.
"I don't know for sure. But, I will try to get it for you but I need 48hours of time to find any clues", the older stated.
"Okay Hyung", the younger replied.
They went back inside and joined the others.
"Hey! Where did you both go? We were worried", Jin scolded.
"We were just lost, Hyung. So, we were searching for you", namjoon said.
They kept on enjoying themselves. The music took the best of them. They were dancing and drank and escaped to the world of trance.
(After two days ~)
"Hello? Jungkook?", namjoon spoke.
"Yes, Hyung. Did you find anything?", the younger asked.
"I did find a lot of cases familiar to this. But there are few things which we are supposed to speak about in person", the older suggested sternly.
"Ok, Hyung. Let us discuss this when we meet then. Shall we meet in the cafe down the street? I will be reaching there in 10 minutes", the younger suggested.
"Sure I will be there soon too. See you soon jungkook", the older said.
"See you too hyung", the younger replied.
(At the cafe)
Namjoon was waiting for the younger to come soon just when he was about to call the younger the bell of the cafe rang turning the older's attention towards the door.
The younger appeared at the door and looked around to find if the older has reached. He spot the older who was sitting at the corner table. He observed that it was isolated compared to the other tables in the cafe he immediately went to the older and offered himself and sat in the chair opposite to the older.
"So, what is it you wanted to talk about, Hyung?", the younger asked.
"Well, first things first we are meeting here officially so that we won't break any laws. The second thing is I didn't expect to find a bulk of cases and evidence related to the information you asked for in just 48 hours' time", the older explained.
Just when they were about to talk more about the details a waiter approached them.
"Good morning sirs, would you like to order what you want or would you like to order after some time?", the waiter asked them both.
"I would like to have an iced americano please", the older said.
"I would like to have a banana milkshake please", the younger said.
"I will get it in a few minutes sir", the waiter said and bowed before leaving.
After a few minutes, the waiter placed their order on the table and left.
"So, shall we continue?", the older suggested.
"Okay", the younger replied.
"When I first started I didn't expect to find these many cases, similarly in 2020 August 21st, 4 victim bodies were found disposed of in different locations, and in 2020 November 25th, a massive amount of people were killed in a fire accident but the cause was still unknown and recent was also similar to these", the older explained while handing the files and photos of the cases.
"On top of all this they all connect at one point--", the older said while stopping at the end.
"And what is that?", the younger asked turning his attention to the older from the files.
"Here this will clear that question. Also, y/n might be in trouble if this meeting is known to someone", the older said.
"What are you talking about, Hyung? Why will she be in trouble?", the younger asked afraid while taking the last file from the older immediately.
"What?", the younger shouted.
"WHY IS THE WANG ENTERPRISES INVOLVED"? the younger shouted getting up from his chair, the other customers turned towards him.
